No More Dry Food

My vet has recommended a wet food only diet. My three sisters are rescues. When kittens they were very sick and needed to add weight. At 5-1/2 years they gained way too much. So now they are crying because they are addicted to the dry food. I always gave wet daily but left a huge bowl of dry for them My vet has recommended a wet food only diet. I always gave wet daily but left a huge bowl of dry for them to graze, no more. Now they each get their own 3 oz can for both breakfast and dinner. That’s it, no treats, snacks or taste of my food. They are adapting good to the new diet (only eat the gravy lovers). Seems there is light at the end of the tunnel … more

They like the gravies on Turkey and Chicken.

They would not touch the beef. But liked the chicken and turkey ok. They do not really eat much of the chunks more or less lick the juice. On ward trying to find something they adore. It seems futile.

I have three cats. Two with special needs. One is a diebetic and the other has IBS. I use the gravy from the fancy feast on their prescription food and they eat their food right away. Definite game changer.
