    Pet Food Great, but shipper is terrible

    I love the service that Chewy provides pet owners. I am an older person so I cannot pick up heavy boxes. Even though Chewy has it typed on the label to deliver to the back door, the shipper places the boxes at the front door on my top step preventing me from opening the door easily. I have to push very I love the service that Chewy provides pet owners. I am an older person so I cannot pick up heavy boxes. Even though Chewy has it typed on the label to deliver to the back door, the shipper places the boxes at the front door on my top step preventing me from opening the door easily. I have to push very hard to move the box out of the way. This sometimes causes the box to break open and I then have to pick up the cans of food or heavy bags of litter.     Availability is great, shipping is questionable

    Was having a difficult time finding cases of this food locally. First time on Chewy, was very happy with availability, ease of ordering, AutoShip, and discount. I ordered 3 cases. When they arrived, there was no evidence of exterior damage to the box. However, two of the three cases had become unglued Was having a difficult time finding cases of this food locally. First time on Chewy, was very happy with availability, ease of ordering, AutoShip, and discount. I ordered 3 cases. When they arrived, there was no evidence of exterior damage to the box. However, two of the three cases had become unglued (how does that happen?) and several cans were dented. Thankfully none had opened. The third case had been taped closed (and not by Purina). I am displeased, whether the "ungluing" is Purina's or Chewy's responsibility. I've been buying this product locally for 10 years and never had a case become unglued. Will watch the next shipment carefully, and if it happens again, would consider cancelling AutoShip. … more
