Description

Every Farmina food is made with the best ingredients with the correct amounts of protein, fats, limited carbohydrates and advanced long life vitamins and minerals. The Natural & Delicious Grain-Free formulas are comprised of 70% animal ingredients (pre-cooking weight) and 30% vegetables, fruits, vitamins and minerals. These diets are also quite different from competing foods because they use better quality protein sources that are devoid of bone, so ash is as low as 7.80% and calcium and phosphorous levels are controlled.

Key Benefits
  • The #1 ingredient in this high protein, limited carbohydrate, and low fiber all life stage dog food is deboned chicken. It's been formulated without grains or gluten and with a small kibble size, perfect for small and medium breed puppies.
  • 92% of protein is from quality animal sources which makes for a low ash content. Ingredients are also fresh and never frozen for optimum nutrition.
  • It's a low glycemic formula so it's a great option for pets that need a food that won't spike blood sugar.
  • This GMO-free formula doesn't contain peas, lentils, pea protein, chickpeas, or added plants oils.
  • Natural omega fatty acids promote healthy skin and coat while added pomegranate and berries are rich in antioxidants to help fight free radicals.

Actual weight listed on the bag is in kilograms.

    Amazing food, amazing results

    By on

Farmina N&D (all products) are simply amazing. Dense, not dry. No need to add fish oil, though we do anyway. Highly recommend. We switched from Fromm and, before that, Origen at the recommendation of a local pet store and use N&D puppy for our pug puppies, and N&D ancestral grains for our older pugs. N&D fish and orange for our pug who has allergies and a mix of a cheaper food (Wholesomes) plus some N&D various varieties for our bigger rescue dogs.

    Great dog food

Made the switch from Pedigree. Our 3 mini dachshunds love it! I give half the recommended serving since they’re adult dogs. Our 11 year old doxie has lost weight also which is good.

    Not Eating

    By on

My puppies won’t eat it and I spent a lot of money on it. Wanted to get them the healthiest food on the market. Very disappointed they won’t touch it.

    This is the one

    By on

Maybe it is still to early to claim that I found a dog food for the new puppy, but so far it is good. He is not overly enthusiastic about his dog food but when his little tummy starts calling for food he goes and eats. My other Shih Tzu is still to spoiled to go with any dog food but Cezars. However I am really happy with the little pup eating habits. Hope he will stay the same-not be a finicky eater like the other one.

    Wanted to love

    By on

I tried this food and I wanted to love it. It gave my dog liquid poo for almost a month. We had to switch back to her old food.

Really Good but not Great for the Cost

I was really hoping this would be THE food for our 4 month old mini-Aussie/Corgie mix puppy. She has been eating another high quality brand because that's what the breeder was feeding, without any issues, but we prefer a grain free diet so once that supply became low, we decided to transition her to something new. This food got such high marks - we really wanted to give it a try. First, I'll just say she doen't go running for it and gobble it down. She'll eat it, but doesn't seem excited for it. She ate the other more readily. Second, it has a pretty strong smell, which is a bit off-putting, and something I haven't really experienced with other dry dog foods. The texture is interesting - the kibbles almost seem oily, with a bit more softness to them. We will finish the bag - which unfortunately will take a while because it only came in one large size - but will be searching for an alternative. I think it's a very high quality food, but our pup just doesn't love it and between her reaction and the smell, we'll look for something else given the price point. … more

    Good quality

Would LOVE to see this in a smaller size. When my dog was younger I always bought the largest bag because it’s the most cost effective. He was super active and super hungry, and we got through the food in a timely manner. BUT- It seems to be very common for older dogs to not want to eat the same food for more than several weeks at a time. So even if you intended to rotate kibble, you’d still have to store 5/6ths of this gigantic bag for a couple of months til it was time to cycle it back in. Personally, I don’t have the space for that.
