Description

Every Farmina food is made with the best ingredients with the correct amounts of protein, fats, limited carbohydrates and advanced long life vitamins and minerals. The Natural & Delicious Grain-Free formulas are comprised of 70% animal ingredients (pre-cooking weight) and 30% vegetables, fruits, vitamins and minerals. These diets are also quite different from competing foods because they use better quality protein sources that are devoid of bone, so ash is as low as 7.80% and calcium and phosphorous levels are controlled.

Key Benefits
  • The #1 ingredient in this high protein, limited carbohydrate, and low fiber all life stage dog food is wild boar. It's been formulated without grains or gluten and with a small kibble size, perfect for mini and small breeds.
  • 95% of protein is from quality animal sources which makes for a low ash content. Ingredients are also fresh and never frozen for optimum nutrition.
  • It's a low glycemic formula so it's a great option for pets that need a food that won't spike blood sugar.
  • This GMO-free formula doesn't contain peas, lentils, pea protein, chickpeas, or added plants oils.
  • Natural omega fatty acids promote healthy skin and coat while added pomegranate and berries are rich in antioxidants to help fight free radicals.

Actual weight listed on the bag is in kilograms.

    Great ingredients

    By on

I’ve spent hundreds of hours researching dog food and came across this one. The ingredients are amazing and it smelled super fresh when I opened it. Unfortunately my picky eaters weren’t overly excited. I was so hoping it would work for them because I want to feed them the best and I really believe this is one of the best foods out there. I’ve read reviews elsewhere and most dogs love it. Sadly mine did not.

    Service works great

    By on

Got dog food on time. Service worked as described. Can edit amount received or hold service at any time. Easy to use interface. Only negative is that the pumpkin formula for this brand is not available. Would prefer the pumpkin formula with the wild boar.

    Very Satisfied Maltese/Shih Tzu!!!!

    By on

My dog's foster mom introduced our adopted 8- 10 year old Maltese/Shih Tzu mix with this nutritious and delicious kibble. We've continued feeding Lucy this kibble which she devours after her daily walks and chasing of squirrels!!!

    Great food

    By on

All four of my dogs love this food. They were eating my cats Farmina chicken dry food so I decided to try the boar for the dogs. Well, it's a hit but all the flavors are. I haven't tried the fish flavor ones yet because mine for some reason have never liked fish.

    WONDERFUL

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

Aw my goodness has anyone ever used this food Farmina. It smells so good and has a great feel to it. My babies and the puppies love it. It's Italian food. I only want the best for my babies and grandkids. It's GMO Free and Grain Free. I got the puppy kind for the puppies but this is for all life stages so they can have this too. Its only sold on line and in certain pet stores. I got mine from www.chewy.com. They have all kinds of healthy flavors too. And its five stars on www.dogfoodadvisor.com.

The best kibble alternative to raw + supplements

    By on

No matter how much I tried to match my little terrier's dietary needs (and allergy considerations) to the majority of American premium kibble foods, I concluded that N&D (Farmina) provided my girl with the optimum glycemic index and load, was highly palatable and also omitted pea protein and other legume proteins suspected of inflammatory effects. After the first three weeks, the dog's coat has become fuller and more lustrous. Her energy level has doubled and stool consistency has firmed. Matching kilocalories with her previous food, the dog's weight dropped from 10.5 on 9/22 to 9.25 on 11/22. Chewy's introductory offer for this product was terrific, and their delivery arrived intact and on-time packed in a much firmer box than amazon provides. A great experience which -- I hope -- continues. … more

    My dogs love it!

I have 3 small terriers who can be picky eaters. They love this food, eat every bite and then lick their bowls. I purchased the Boar and the Lamb varieties and they eat both of them equally well.
