Description

Every Farmina food is made with the best ingredients with the correct amounts of protein, fats, limited carbohydrates and advanced long life vitamins and minerals. The Natural & Delicious Grain-Free formulas are comprised of 70% animal ingredients (pre-cooking weight) and 30% vegetables, fruits, vitamins and minerals. These diets are also quite different from competing foods because they use better quality protein sources that are devoid of bone, so ash is as low as 7.80% and calcium and phosphorous levels are controlled. This Wild Boar formula contains a minimum of 42% Wild Boar content.

Key Benefits
  • The #1 ingredient in this high protein, limited carbohydrate, and low fiber all life stage dog food is wild boar. It's been formulated without grains or gluten and with a universal kibble size, great for any breed.
  • 95% of protein is from quality animal sources which makes for a low ash content. Ingredients are also fresh and never frozen for optimum nutrition.
  • It's a low glycemic formula so it's a great option for pets that need a food that won't spike blood sugar.
  • This GMO-free formula doesn't contain peas, lentils, pea protein, chickpeas, or added plants oils.
  • Natural omega fatty acids promote healthy skin and coat while added pomegranate and berries are rich in antioxidants to help fight free radicals.

  • Best You Can Buy

My dogs aren't fussy, but I am. I look at dog foods all the time and none comes close to Farmina. The odor might be a bit strong, but get over it. I alternate between the various protein types, but they are all top shelf. I also feed less due to the high quality of the ingredients.

My 2 dogs are somewhat picky eaters. They have been scratching lately so I am trying this food. I was worried they would not like it, but I was wrong. They can smell it when I am putting it in their bowls, and start nudging me. They love it. I will let you know about the scratching in a couple of weeks.

  • Picky eater approved

Hi, my dog has only been on this a week but she loves it so far. Picky eater for sure, was on a very good quality food and just stopped eating it. A friend told me to try this, so far so good. Transitioning over but at half and half she loves it. I like the larger kibble, actually crunches it. Much cheaper locally, why is chewy so much more expensive?

  • Wild Boar wins an eight paws up!

Our boys love both the Lamb and now the Wild Boar Farmina. I like the fact that the kibble size is about a nickel size in diameter. This kibble supplements the dehydrated raw food we feed them. We rotate their protein source in the hopes of offering to them a more balanced diet. In addition, they receive digestive enzymes, pre and probiotics as well as Krill oil rotated with organic virgin coconut oil. They probably eat better than we do.

  • Welp, gave it a try.

We typically would get the Farmina N&D Pumpkin formula of the wild boar. Figured we’d try this one instead this time. My (rescue) border collie mix gets picky about food. She may love it at first, but definitely appreciates “variety in her life”. Lol. I will always vouch for Farmina though. Best kibble ever. Just hard when you buy a giant bag and can’t use the rest. (Brought ours to the local humane society, they were very grateful.) I suppose I should have went somewhere and gotten a sample bag first. But I figured she’d like it. I give three stars because half:half. Farmina rocks! My pup just happened to not care for the non-pumpkin varietal.

It’s a very nice product was very nice ingredients. Stopped at my dogs from itching and have a very nice coat. Unfortunately it’s also quite expensive compared to some of the other products that are out there.

  • My Dogs Love It!

First of all, I'll just put it out there that my dogs are not picky. Both dogs eat any kibble I offer them happily. This kibble is no exception. My dogs scarf this food down so quickly! Sometimes my shiba inu forgets to chew this food because he loves it so much. Don't worry! We feed him out of a slow feed bowl to prevent bloat and choking, but he still tries to inhale it. My dogs are used to eating a variety of different kibbles at one given time so transitioning them onto this food was painless. Stools look great! Fur is looking shiny! Both dogs are willing to work (clicker train) for this kibble. My only minor complaint is that the kibble size is too big for my preference. I prefer pea-sized kibble, but I can get over that since my dogs are doing so well on this food. My other constructive criticism is I wish the bag had a ziplock or velcro seal. Otherwise, I am so happy I decided to try this food. I believe it is worth the cost, and I will definitely be re-purchasing! … more

  • So far so good. He seems to love it

I have a 10 week old cane corso and this is what I feed him along with a teaspoon of salmon oil. The breeder told us that we should not feed him puppy food because puppy food makes them grow much faster than needed. I think the quality justifies the price

  • Not for my dog

    By on

This particular flavor is not for my dog. She has digestion issues and we are trying different foods to see what the culprit might be. We liked the low fiber content however this particular flavor does not do well with my dogs digestion. We did however try and Ancestral line and that product worked well for us.

  • My dogs favorite!

I recently switched my girls to Farmina N&D Boar and Apple formula. My dogs absolutely love this food. They clean their bowls every time. The ingredients are safe and I love that there isn't unnecessary fillers. They love N&D!
