Nutritious Food
By hayfieldhick on Feb 17, 2017 Top 1000 Contributor
My cats love Farmina Dry Foods. Though this one contains some grain, it is well balanced and was a good replacement when we could no longer get the Wild Boar from Chewy.

tasty but poor quality control
By Susan on Nov 15, 2016
My cats eat it, they like it, but the only problem is that not all of the food is broken down into the bite size nuggets. From time to time we get large balls of nuggets, 1"- 2" in diameter, that are too big and hard for the cats to eat. I have to throw them out which is really annoying considering how expensive this food is.

Apparently tastes great
By FussyCat on Nov 14, 2016
I have a very fussy eating cat. Dry is her main meal because there are only a few wet foods that she approves of. She usually only likes salmon, but she liked Farmina's herring & cod formulas. This happens to be one of her preferred dry cat foods and she eats it readily. So, it is fussy cat approved!

My two kitties love this food. I have one kitty who is picky but seems to like this food because her dish is always empty.

My cat love this food
By HappySewing1 on Sep 22, 2016
Even though it smells terrible, my 6 cats love this food. I don't care how it smells, as long as they eat it. Finally!!

It's a hit!

We switched our cats to Farmina after reading the reviews and comparing it to other foods. The cats love it, even our picky eater.

After 5 weeks, older cats are doing fantastic!!
By 4DogsinNC on Apr 3, 2016
I have two older (13/14) outdoor cats. I have looked high and low trying to find a high quality food my picky cat would eat enough of, and met the needs of my bigger cat, who is allergic to chicken AND suffers from moderate bouts of FLUTD (never fully blocks, just gets ouchy and stops eating for a week). So far, both cats LOVE this food, the thin/picky gal has gained weight, and my male has shown no signs of urinary issues. Their coats also feel softer and healthier. So I'm as pleased as can be! (I still wouldn't recommend anything but prescription food for cats that have fully blocked with FLUTD, its just too dangerous a risk to take.) But its been fantastic for my felines!!

Wild Cod is Fabulous
By Daphne8 on Apr 22, 2016 Top 10 Contributor
This food is fabulous. My cats simply love this flavor. It will be kept in rotation with the all the other flavors Farmina has to offer. The cats are doing so good and seem so full of life since we switched to the Farmina brand. Trustworthy company with ingredients that are safe and healthy.

Excellent Food, But Beware of Possible Production Issues
By britishatheart84 on Feb 24, 2016
I randomly found Farmina products at my local independent pet/feed store, and have been feeding this formula to my cats for about a year. However, they stopped carrying the product, so I have since ordered from Chewy.com (which I LOVE!) My cats like this formula. It always smells good in the bag, but does tend to have a greasy texture though. The last bag I purchased had a few (two or three) huge dog food kibbles mixed in with it, which I had to remove. This is odd, and had never happened before. Maybe production line/quality control issues? I also question where this is made as Farmina has many production facilities globally. Nutrition and ingredient wise, this is an excellent product, though I randomly found Farmina products at my local independent pet/feed store, and have been feeding this formula to my cats for about a year. If you're considering feeding Farmina, I would give it a try. I may still myself. … more
