Unless your Veterinarian has told you otherwise, when switching your pet to a Farmina diet from a different food, we suggest making the transition over 10 Days. From days 1 to 3 we recommend feeding 75% of the old food and 25% of the new food. From days 4 to 6 feed 50% old and 50% new. From days 7 to 9 feed 25% old and 75% new. Finally, on day 10 you can start exclusively feeding the new food.
Great product, great price. My cats love this, I feed it to them instead of 'snack' treats.
my cats do so well on this food, and they love it. We are glad we found farmina.
This food is great. However the price for bag is just not easy to obtain. My cats done great on it. All the cats love it. My cat beg for it.
Made with high quality and nutrient dense ingredients for my cats. Lower in fat and calories than most dry cat foods.
Don't make the same mistake as I did in thinking this is a bigger bag of the low-grain formula—it's not! The current bags look the exact same, the ingredients and nutrition facts are the exact same, but when this food arrives, it is definitely not the same. This formula is rough kibble that is much larger and drier. When I opened the bag, the alfalfa and grainy smell nearly knocked me over. My cat has megacolon and subsequent health issues, so quality food and consistency are mega important. After seeing and smelling this food, I will stick to the low-grain. I wish there were photos of the actual kibble to make it more obvious how different this is from the other formula. Also, what's with the small bags being resealable, but the larger bag isn't? Makes no sense, especially for a pricier food.
This is an excellent quality dry food. My cats all have shiny coats and are healthy. I noticed that I feed less so though it is expensive it does last longer. Plus I think the ingredients are the best I have found.
My cats love Farmina, and never had any issue with, great quality, made in Italy.
This brand is excellent. Our cat loves it and our dogs love the dry dog food line.
My cats LOVED this food. They were always eager to eat it and typically chose it over their wet food. Unfortunately, it's higher in fat and caused one of my cats horrendous diarrhea and gas. I was hoping after time she would adjust and that would subside, but it never did. It's a very good quality dry food from a responsible company. I wanted to love this food, but it's not for us.
My cat (and my neighbors’ cats!) loves this cat food. It’s his first time having it. A win!
