    My 3 cats LOVE this

    By My3Cats on Dec 21, 2020

I had been buying Farmina's Lamb & Blueberry but decided to try the Ancestral Grain Lamb & Blueberry. I put a dish of it next to the one without the Ancestral Grains and they immediately ate this and left the other. They got so excited so it's worth trying. I've done lots of research and have not found any other brand as good or with such high praise from other researchers. When a brand hasn't ever had a recall it is proof that it is wonderful even if it is higher in price. I believe it will keep your pets healthy and will avoid vet bills saving you money in the long run.

    Cats adore it!

By Buzz on Dec 31, 2020

I was searching for a different dry food to supplement their wet food. I tried several with mixed success. Then I tried the ND range. All of my cats (20) love this. When I open a new bag there is a scramble to be first to get their head in. A success!

    Favorite food and flavor

By harmzy on Nov 9, 2020

After exhaustive feed tag research and great reviews of the “Ancestral grain” variety, my 3 cats got to choose which flavor they preferred over time. Lamb & Blueberry for the win. I was surprised because they love everything chicken (and don’t like seafood). All 3 like this dry food, don’t over eat, and their litter box is soooo much neater (and less stinky!) My Midwest cats have spoken! I do prefer the zipper-sealed 11 lb bags that I got in one or two auto-ships. Not sure how to request that packaging as the standard for freshness—got spoiled by that design already. Lol

    They all LOVE it

By pitseleh on Oct 31, 2020

I've got old cats, young cats, fat cats, picky cats, an IBD cat, and a renal diet cat. They all love this stuff. First, I chose this flavor because it contains no chicken protein, which means my poultry-allergic IBD buddy can eat it. It only contains chicken fat, which has no protein molecules, as per my vet and IBD cat online forums. Second, I chose this formula, which contains some low-glycemic grains, because its lower protein percentage (as compared to the Farmina grain-free) makes it easier on the aforementioned renal cat's and older cats' kidneys. Farmina specifies the grain-free line as being for adult cats, but not seniors, for this reason. I appreciate them relaying info to their I've got old cats, young cats, fat cats, picky cats, an IBD cat, and a renal diet cat. They all love this stuff. Last, I chose Farmina because they were listed as one of only a few pet food companies that either employ a veterinarian on staff or have a veterinary consultant for their product line. The only thing that could improve this product would be to make the 11-lb bags resealable. Can't figure out why the 3.3-lb bags have zippers but the bags that are bigger, last longer, and are therefore more likely to get stale, have no way to secure them. … more

    Yay for 11 lb bag!

By Meghan on Apr 11, 2020

I typically purchase the lamb without grains from Concord Pet in the 3.3lb bag. Only Chewy had N&D lamb options in the 11 lb bag. My 16 year old cat loves Farmina N&D. Thank you, Chewy for the 11lb option, game changer for my bank account!

My cats go nuts over farmina. They refuse all other food until they get to eat it.
