    Kitty Approved!

By Lucifur on Oct 30, 2020

I adopted a cat, who shortly after received the fitting name of Lucifur, and his whole body was covered in little scabs. The vet said it could be many things causing this allergy but that I should switch up his diet as a first defense. The vet recommended a VERY expensive prescription wet and dry food I adopted a cat, who shortly after received the fitting name of Lucifur, and his whole body was covered in little scabs. The vet said it could be many things causing this allergy but that I should switch up his diet as a first defense. The vet recommended a VERY expensive prescription wet and dry food brand of which I could not afford (were talking around $300/month). I spoke with a friend who works at Pet Club and she said many less-expensive brands, like the Friskies he ate, have lots of fillers such as chicken and grain and that commonly triggers cat allergies. She suggested I switch him to all one protein and to try white fish first. This is the brand she suggested and let me know that this ~$15 white fish dry food is comparable to the other ~$23 white fish dry food the brand offers. So, I tried this first along with "Tiki Cat King Kamehameha Grill Variety Pack Grain-Free Canned Cat Food". He loves it! This, along with switching him from over-the-counter to prescription flea meds cleared his skin up. I can't say it was all his diet, but I know he's a much healthy cat than when I adopted him just over a year ago and he loves this stuff! … more

    Only 1.90 percent fiber!

By Mimi on Apr 20, 2020

This is a mixed review because I wanted to try a new food. This is a nice food and my 15 year old cat loves it. However, toward the end of his second bag, he started being constipated-- so I looked at the ingredients and analysis again and was upset to read the crude fiber was only 1.90 percent. No wonder This is a mixed review because I wanted to try a new food. This is a nice food and my 15 year old cat loves it. However, toward the end of his second bag, he started being constipated-- so I looked at the ingredients and analysis again and was upset to read the crude fiber was only 1.90 percent. No wonder he was constipated! I immediately switched back to Fromm brand and he is back to normal. I feel bad I didnt notice this when I first choose it. So sad that we can not use this due to the low fiber level. I will donate the third bag that we ordered before I noticed the problem. If your cat needs fiber, I do not recommend this food. … more

    A super hit!

    By on

My cats adore it! If they even hear the bag rustle, there is a rush to see who can get to me first! I have 20 cats and they ALL like it, which is probably a first, as I have some picky eaters. I shall be ordering more for sure.

    Among the best in kibble

    By on

My 3 cats are on raw meat for years now and thriving. But sometimes I don't have enough because I forgot to thaw the meat in time. That's when the kibble comes in. Cats love it - of course - they all love kibble and they get fish for a change. Ingredients are very good (for kibble that is) and it's from Italy which makes it even better.

    Delicious!!! According to the Cat

    By on

My cat likes this brand of cat food in general, so we tried this new flavor and he gave it two thumbs up. He likes fruits in the ingredients, so that helps. He will sometimes eat it too fast and brings it right back up...TMI perhaps...just saying, it must be pretty good to him.

    Crowd Favorite

    By on

We have a motley crew of kitties who have adopted us. Coming from the alleys you would think the would be happy with any old dry food, but they all very clearly prefer this taste sensation. Happy to have found the large bag which also has a better closure than the smaller bag...great prosuct!

    Love Every Flavor

    By on

My two cats were already eating Farmina Chicken kibble and I added this flavor into their diet. They love the added flavor and had no negative tummy reactions to the addition. My cats now both prefer their kibble over the wet food that I give them.

Nice new offering from Farmina and Chewy

    By on Top 500 Contributor

The cats who like fish liked this. Those who prefer poultry passed in favor of the Farmina chicken and low grain. Chewy, many of us have been asking for the larger bags of Farmina. Thank you for carrying them now.

    A Great Food Choice

    By on Top 25 Contributor

My recently adopted adult cat is very excited by this food and eats it with enthusiasm. I like that it has no poultry and mostly: it has no corn. Transitioning from the shelter food has gone well with no digestive distress. What a happy discovery that he likes seafood very much, and this food isn't fake... it's the real deal!
