Treats are not a substitute for a complete diet with balanced nutrition. New treats, just like new dog food, should be introduced gradually to your dog. We recommend start with 25% of the daily maximum shown in the feeding guidelines for the first 2 days, increasing to 50% in day 3, then 75% in days 4 and 5, with the maximum beginning day 6.
For smaller dogs, we recommend breaking the jerky into bite-sized pieces. Always monitor your dog when feeding treats.

I have been using these for years. However the last 2 times they came the brown round patties had strings hanging out of them. The chicken strips were so smooth and slick twice they got stuck once in the roof of my dog's mouth. The other time it was slimy and stuck in his throat and he was choking. I physically put my finger down his throat and pulled it out. It. Appears with inflation additives or ingredients have changed. I do not suggest if you love your dog to buy these treats.
My dog likes this jerky. Ingredients are good. She does seem to have a harder time eating the chicken jerky though. Choked on it and threw up. Maybe just a fluke, but, I won't be giving her anymore of that one. She does fine with the other ones and seems to love it.
this sounded like a good deal for my 2 little dogs. they are picky, however they would only smell them and walk away or ignore them. they lay on my living floor and walk right by them.
He's kinda picky especially when it comes to TREATS but not with this TREAT he is always looking for more Also you are getting 3 LBS kinda goes a long way
Our dogs love the Farmland Chicken Jerky treats. Since they were not available we tried this package of mixed (chicken, jerky and pork) treats. Dogs were not enthused. The chicken was all they were interested in. The textures were different and the round ones were hard to bend or break.
Both of my dogs throw up and have extremely loose stools after eating these treats. I thought it was a fluke but I stopped giving them and then decided to try again and once I gave them one treat each, both dogs threw up the day they were given. I bought three bags of these!!
We started with the duck jerky, but Chewy was out of them. But I trusted the brand, so we went with the variety pack. Molly, a 13 year-old Scottie mix, loves these treats.
My dogs are obsessed with Farmland Traditions chicken jerky
Very odd, waxy sort of dog treat. Not like jerky. My dogs ate them and seemed to like them well enough, but they have the feel of wax.
Dog loved them! He still has plenty left as this is such a big bag. Will order again!
