Instructions

Mix Repel-X®pe Emulsifiable Fly Spray with water at proper dilution. First put the required amount of Repel-X®pe Emulsifiable Fly Spray into sprayer or mixing container. Then add water according to directions, and mix thoroughly before using.

IMPORTANT: Mix fresh solution before each use. Apply with pressure sprayer, or you can sponge it on horses. Make sure animal’s coat is thoroughly wet. Use approximately 8 oz. for each animal depending on size of horse or pony. Avoid getting solution into the animal’s eyes.

To protect horses from Horn Flies, House Flies, Gnats and Mosquitoes apply at a 1 to 7 dilution. Each pint of concentrate makes a gallon of finished spray. Repeat application every 3 or 4 days but not more than one treatment a day. Where Horse Flies, Deer Flies (Tabanids), Stable Flies, Ticks, or Deer Ticks, that may transmit Lyme Disease, are a problem, apply 1 to 4 dilution and repeat as often as needed.

    smells like a terrible cleaner

    By on

It’s smells like something you would clean your wood floors w and it doesn’t seem to keep flys off my horse at all. I sprayed directly on some flys and nothing happened.

    Have used for 20 years

    By on

Like any fly spray it’s not very long lasting but I include it in my homemade spray recipe. I think it helps. I don’t like to switch sprays since my mares can react to others.

    Works great!

    By on

I've used Repel-X for years and it's the best, in my opinion. None of the sprays last for 14 days unless your horse lives in a bubble! But this one lasts more than a lot do. With the concentrate you can thin it more if you want or adust however you like. So it seems a bit more economical to me too.

    Doesnt work

    By on

Complete waste of money. I spray daily and even while grooming the flies never die or are repelled. I had better luck spray just vinegar and water than this stuff!

Keeps biting flies off of your horse

    By on

It is a good fly spray that works immediately to keep flies off your horse. I only rated it a 4 star because it seems like it wears off quickly, and within about 5-6 hrs. later another spritz is needed

    Best fly spray .

    By on

I have used repeal X for 40 years. It always works as a repellent and kills flies instantly . Nothing else compares . You can mix it different strengths for different times of the year.

    Great Product!

    By on

Haven't bought this is decades. Helping a friend with her horse and nothing was keeping the flies off. I remembered this product and just order a small container, and it goes a long way because you add water. Shake it up and spray. So far so good!!

    Flies be gone.

    By on

This is pretty good stuff. Horses don't like getting sprayed but afterwards they love me for helping them out. Easy to use, good instructions. We have had a lot of rain and so it has been hard to keep flies off, but while its dry they are good.
