Instructions

Bait and use trap outdoors. Remove attractant assembly from inside of trap cone. While holding trap upside down, tear open outside attractant packet. Drop water-soluble attractant pouch into trap. Handle with dry hands or use gloves. Do not open the inside pouch, it will dissolve in water. Add 16 fluid ounces of clean water up to fill line to activate attractant. Agitate lightly to disperse attractant. Slowly turn trap right side up, and hang or set on a flat surface outside in a sunlit area of high fly concentration when flies are active and where odors will not be a problem. For best results, place trap within four feet of the ground. In hot weather (above 90° F), place trap in shade for better results, in cooler weather, place trap in full sun. If placed on ground, be sure that at least ¼ inch of space is available between the trap body and ground so flies can enter. Replace trap when full of flies, or when trap contents dry out. Wash hands with soap and water after handling

  • Farnam Trap N Toss Fly Trap

    By on

We decided to give this product a try. We love it! We bought several and they are trapping flies like crazy. We have had them up a week or more in hot weather. No odor, except for a small amount if you are right next to them. My husband lowered 2 of them, as we noticed they were not capturing as many flies as the ones lower to the ground. We both are excited and impressed by how well these work, plus we can be in our yard and not even smell them. We highly recommend these traps!

  • Nope....sorry

I ordered this with high hopes. But I was just done in by the process of baiting the trap and finding a way to hang it in an inconspicuous place. The trap is much bigger than I expected. Didn’t read the specs, I guess. And the label won’t come off. Ugly thing. Gone.

  • An easy way to trap the flies.

    By on

I have flies accumulate in my upper story that has a lot of windows. The house is shut down for the winter and when I return and find dead flies all over the floor, it is pretty disgusting. They are called Cluster Flies. Hopefully this trap will do the trick.

  • An ABSOLUTE must

These are AWESOME!!! I was a little concerned because they didn't have the putrid smell of another brand I have used. I love my ducks but do not love the flies they attract. As you can see from the pic this product WORKS.

  • Great product

I am very surprised at how well this works. The traps have thousands of flies in them. They are slam full and only need to be replaced because of how well they work. They don’t seam to attract yellow flies though.

  • Disappointed

    By on

I was anxious to get this because it sounded almost too good to be true. I followed the instructions and it’s been hanging for a couple weeks now. I still have the fly issue and this trap has only 4 flies in it! It doesn’t work!

  • Not worth the money

    By on Top 500 Contributor

While I did not buy this at Chewy I still wanted to comment. I've bought other fly traps that catch/attract flies by the thousands. This thing didn't catch one fly. A couple of gnats, but that's it. Will be going back to other products I used in the past.

Works great. Kinda disgusting, because it works so well. Wish Chewy sold the packets of attractant separately so it could be recycled

  • USE THIS NOT STINKY FLY TRAPS!

    By on

I live in Orange County, CA and have 4 chickens. This summer the flies were the worst I'd seen. I got those hanging stinky fly traps but am convinced it brought more flies and I could barely stand being out there. Tried these instead and when you add water you smell the solution but once it is mixed you don't smell anymore. These were totally black with flies. I will use these as long as there are flies! Thank you for a Fabulous product!
