Fat Cat Big Mama's Cat Scratcher Toy with Catnip

My cat would tear up my area rug & chairs and the sound of that drives me nuts. Plus I had to replace my area rug every year. I got this scratcher before I replaced the rug this time and he has not clawed my new rug once. He goes right for this thing and even lounges/naps on it most of the day. Doesn’t look comfy to me, but I’m not a cat. Glad they sell refills too.

My ten year old tuxedo doesn't play. She is a snob with the kittens but boy did she grab onto this. She literally ripped the first one to shreads and showed the kittens just how to handle it. We reinforced the first one and bought this replacement and then purchased another with the stand. One goes on the porch and one in the LR. Messy but what are you going to do. Obviously it's the catnip too which the kittens are not interested. The one with the stand has a geat toy which the love and has a marvelous spring that bounces right back that the kittens love.

Sebastian loves this scratcher. We have others around the house but he chooses this one the most. Not only does he get good strong scratches from it but he loves to lounge and sleep on it!

Our mom purchased two for us and we love them so much we sleep on them when not scratching them! Take it from Geo and Gigi, you can’t go wrong with these great scratchy boxes.

Surprisingly all six of our cats LOVE this scratcher box as well as the included little kitty. The toy is thrown all over the house by them, and they've basically changed from a scratching post to using this little cardboard box, which is actually good. Just wish they would have refills for it instead of having to buy another one all the time. Glad I bought three of them to start.

My cats jump right on this when I opened it and placed it on the floor. Nice that they use this instead of my furniture! The little mouse was a bonus for the younger cat!

For such a simple item it has been surprisingly difficult to find one I like. The others either had no frame so any catnip that you put in would fall out the bottom and get all over. Same for all the little pieces that your am at scratching would take off. Another one I tried was a weird wave shape so when your cat stepped on it, it would rock back and forth which was scary for the cat. This one doesn’t have any of those problems. Has a frame to catch the debris and is flat on the ground. It is lightweight so my cat sometimes if she only steps on it with her front legs will push and pull it by mistake. The product itself is great, especially for the price considering that the scratcher is a good size and the cute little catnip add-ons. Unfortunately my little one never became interested in the scratcher itself so I’ll be trying sisal or carpet next instead of this cardboard. Other than that I have no complaints! Would recommend if your kitty favors these type of scratchers.

my kitty cat loves this scratcher, he uses it like a bed for some reason. he pretends he's too cool for catnip but i catch him partaking sometimes so it's a nice addition to the scratcher. he seems to like it a lot so i highly recommend

My cat just loves his scratching board...it is wide for him to fit right in! He scratches more with this one than before with a smaller one. Perfect one for a good price.
