GREAT toy! Bought it for my two three year old boys. My younger one only cares for it a little, but, but he plays sometimes, but my older one goes nuts for it. The day he came he played with it for hours! He usually doesn't care for toys. He hasn't gotten the red ball out either and he's usually very good at that. He's not as interested after a few days but still likes to play. It's smaller than I imagined but still big enough for my 13 pound boys. It's light so it moves easily and sometimes flips and is VERY loud on hard surfaces. The cloth covering is relatively sturdy but still tearable, so keep those claws short. Even with all that I am *very* happy with this toy and recommend to everyone! Would also be wonderful for rowdy kittens.
I wanted to get this because my cat loves pouncing on things. However this was much smaller than I thought it would be which is my bad for not looking at reviews or the dimensions. My kitten was interested the first day, now she plays with it every few days. The fabric pretty much touches the bottom of the toy so it’s not as great for pouncing as I thought, if they worked out a few of the kinks I think this could be an amazing toy. There’s also nothing to keep it stuck to the floor so she ends up tossing it across the room when she plays.
My cats are just not interested in this at all. My smallest cat used it as a bed once which was pretty cute but not what I bought it for lol.
Our Maine coon and our Tabby love this toy. Go back again and again to play!!
I have a six year old Siamese that I adopted two years ago. He never showed much interest in play other than occasionally chasing a laser. After losing my other cat last week, I decided to get him some new toys. He has played with this off and on all day. It isn't fast or glitzy but appeals to his love of touch as well as catnip and hunting instincts. May not work for every cat, but perfect for my guy.
I was excited this toy would add a bit of a challenge for our cat but unfortunately she’s just not very interested in it. It’s pretty small and light weight so when she tries to bat the ball the whole toy moves which I don’t think she enjoys.
My big cat loves this toy and will invite me to play. We take turns spinning the ball although he cheats by reaching across
My adult cats have played with this toy a few times. I think they would spend more time with it if it was bigger/wider so they could lay in it. They do scratch/dig at the cloth top - I am not sure how long it will last.
My cat doesn’t know how to use this. It doesn’t work as well as some other toys and took a long time to arrive
Broke out out of the box as most reviewers stated.
