Hi, I’ve been a chewy customer for a while now. I bought this cat tree for my senior Maine Coon cat I usually buy carpet tress but thought I’d try something new. 2 months in I notice “Matty” would have her legs off of the bed and the side is weak and won’t stay up any more. I’ll be ordering a new tree but with carpet instead. Thank you
The holes where the bolts go are so close to the corner that it's nearly impossible to wedge the pieces together, leaving them bent and leaning. I don't understand how an item can be so pricey and so poorly made.
I got this a few months ago to replace an old tree from when my cat was a little kitten. Loved it but was a little unstable, was easier to just keep it in a corner for stability. Unfortunately the top is too close in shape to the level below so my cat has to use my bed or dresser to get there but because of how unstable it is she has never liked going to the top or being in the hammock. The sad news I have on it is that now when she tries to climb it the tree tilts dangerously. She is definitely not over weight, but wear and tear just set in earlier than expected. I did love this tree and it worked during the time I've had it but now its not safe for my cat to be on.
This is the highest rated one on the internet and Chewy has the lowest price. Nori hasn't climbed this yet. When I place her on the hammock and bed, she jumps off. She does climb the artificial Christmas tree, shelves, tables, but isn't interested in this cat tree. It is well made, took about an hour to put together. I even hung some shoelaces with binder clips to the hammock; she will bat at the string, but not climb on this yet
Easy to assemble Sturdy-holds 2-3 10+ lb cats My cats love to relax/bird watch from the different levels
So glad I chose this tower for my 2 cats, one is a chunker and the other is beyond energetic. My fat cat fits perfect on the tower, and my crazy one loves curling up in the basket. Very sturdy and the perfect size. Definitely recommend.
Assembly was fine and the directions make sense so thats no issue. My issue is my cat cannot jump onto the top platform from anywhere. The tree is too much of the same shape all the way around so she has to jump on my dresser to get to it. If she stands on the house portion, she is too close to the platform to get up and thats kind of the only way. Jumping from the floor is even weird because of the shape of the whole thing.
This is built very well and overall easy to put together. The design of it makes it similar to putting together legos. Following the instructions will get you to the end. Both of my cats weigh over 10 lbs and it works for both of them.
My 2 boys were intrigued as soon as I started putting this together. They seem to enjoy it so far, mostly for bird watching and napping. I worry slightly about it tipping when my heavier cat (11ish lbs) is in the basket, but so far so good. Quality speaking, it certainly won't last forever but should be good for a few years.
Second FEANDREA tree for the house and my kitty is McLovin it! He’s a beastly kitten at almost 9lbs and just under 7 mos and this thing is perfectly sturdy and he loves every part of it. This one and the taller 55” one have a safety strap and I haven’t even needed it and I swear my cat is half wild so trust me this is a great buy!
