My cats don't love it

OMG THE SMELL!
Purchased this for the first and last time recently. Ingredient list is impressive but I'm not exaggerating when I say it took nearly 24 hours to get the atrocious smell out of my house after the first try. I reluctantly tried it again yesterday. Not only same horrific odor but one of my cats immediately threw up after eating. Can't believe I paid over $45 and only using 2 cans of food. That's almost $23 per can, plus time spent cleaning up puke and deodizing my house. Seeing lots of good reviews so maybe the case I received is rotten?

Not only can Ansel eat it (no fillers, legumes & weird ingredients for him to be allergic to), but it’s a new flavor to him that he likes, so yay! The only ones he won’t eat are ones with lamb.

My cat has allergies and it has been hard to find good cat food . This brand is excellent!! Her health has improved and she loves it!!

I recently decided to order this flavor for my girl. She loves it! I think she likes the chicken and venison more but she eats this one with gusto as well. It is much more watery then the chicken and venison formula. That is neither a pro or con for me/my cat, but something I noticed.
Smells repugnant and none of the cats would eat it
I have one British shorthair boy and I am cat sitting two other cats; none of them would eat this. I don’t know if I got a bad batch or something, the moment I opened this I felt pessimistic, because it smells sooo bad. I thought maybe it’s just me, since I hate fishy smells, but the cats don’t like it either. My boy tried two bites and never touched it again, same with the other two. I have all the Feline Natural foods, and this is the only fail. Compare to other feline natural cans, this one’s texture is also slightly different(this is probably not the reason my boy won’t eat it tho, since he’s been fine with all kinds of textures).
