Is it human grade?
Answer by ChewySep 22, 2019
Everything is made fresh in New Zealand, and that's because it's the perfect place to find natural, pure ingredients. With resources like grass-fed animals, cage-free chickens, and the most fertile soil on earth, Feline Natural uses only the best. They practice a farm-to-bowl policy thanks to a close relationship with local farmers, and every human-grade product can be traced back to its source.

What are the benefits of consuming venison for cat?
Answer by ChewyNov 01, 2018
Venison is a good source of B vitamins and minerals such as zinc, phosphorous, and iron. It helps cats maintain healthy energy levels and many cats enjoy the taste.

The New Gold Cans with the White Lacquer lining are Tainting the Food!

I have bought this food for years because of its high quality ingredients and no-fillers. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not put the public on notice that they had made changes to their packaging. I contacted the manufacturer and by their own admission this is what they stated,"The Pet Food cans are lined with a Lacquer system which is a special liquid which is applied to the metal of the can in order to protect it from the product. The lining is BPAni (Bisphenol A, Non-Intentional). Meaning "BPA non-intent" to show that they are not intentionally adding BPA, but that they probably have other products that contain BPA and there could be some carry-over. I have cases of their "bad" food that have made my cats sick. The food is rancid with a metallic odor. The lacquer lining inside the can is breaking down and leaching into the food and contaminating it. The food is a health hazard. It is not safe for consumption. This food is too expensive to be packaged in cans that poison the food.

excellent quality, Bengal approved

I have two 9 month old bengals and they really love the whole Feline Natural line but they LOVE this stuff so much I have to put them on lick paddy’s so they don’t swallow it whole! Ingredient are all great and no weird preservatives just water! Highly recommend for people that want to give a cat a more natural diet but not go fully to a raw diet!

Yuck to yum

I had bought this quite a while ago, but my cats didn’t care for it. Must have been the venison because they hadn’t had that before. But Feline Natural is a super healthy food and I try to feed my crew as healthy as possible without going raw. Unfortunately, Feline Natural doesn’t have many flavors to choose from. It’s been a while now, so I decided to try the chicken and venison again. They were a bit hesitant at first, but patience is key when it comes to cats and this food is expensive. Eventually, one by one they started trying it and now all 12 seem to love it. One thing though, the smell is a little off putting because of the venison blood, but cats like stinky food.

Instant Hit

Just got my first delivery today for my picky cat who has been turning up his nose at his usual wet food. I barely put the plate down before he devoured everything and licked the plate clean!

My cats loves venison so I thought they would enjoy this venison brand as well but no. They eat a little bit then walk away. Disappointed because it is pricy

Pepe LOVES this food!

Pepe absolutely loves this food! I must admit he is a bit of fa chow hound, but he truly likes this food much better than his previous kibble and canned food mixture,

Chewy really helped us out this time! Ansel has to have this food because others cause him to be sick. We were evacuated from the Oak Fire, near Yosemite & weren’t sure where we’d be when the order arrived. Chewy let me order one case for each address & they arrived quickly!

Wish I bought it sooner

It's high quality, my new cat LOVES it and has none of the questionable stuff in there you have to look up to understand. After losing my cat to a long battle with cancer, on Christmas Eve, I decided to stop trusting the pet food manufacturers here in the US. I know it was bad ingredients that caused his gasterintestional cancer. And, I trust other manufacturers with discernment. Listen to your vet, but check all medication given. Do your research on your pet and what you give then. You want them dying of old age, not cancer or kidney disease. You should be able to almost grow old with your pet. But pet food manufacturers make that unlikely.
