Wonderfull booster, but try to get 1 can from local pet store first

    By Mrr2020 on Dec 26, 2020

After reading all the negative reviews on this booster, I decided to get a couple of cans from a local, mom&pop pet store before committing to a whole box from Chewy. Why did I even bother? Because this brand haven't had recalls, ingredients are premium and my Bengal kitten already has tried all the other flavors and seems to like them. She gets picky with some of the flavors of canned foods (mostly Ziwi), but if I add a bit of juice from this can to the one she doesn't like, she'll lick the bowl clean and ask for more! Sure it smells, but I wouldn't say that it smells worse than any other novelty canned meat. Added benefit is that it's mostly liquid. So you have to risk it, or if you're lucky, find one at a local pet store. Wish that it would come in pouches to save on metal. And obviously wish it was cheaper... cuz feeding a little tiger is $$$. … more

    Doesn’t smell THAT bad

By Tripe on Dec 22, 2020

We’re Greek, so we prepare tripe in our sink every year to eat for Easter. That said, this can is tame on the nose. Anyways, the cats LOVE this stuff, always cleaning out their bowls after every serving. What can I say, my furry brats have good taste. Who wants to see the rod we use to clean lamb intestines?

    Lamb Green Tripe Hydration Booster

By cattree on Aug 27, 2020

The can I opened smelled bad, very bad and I was afraid to give it to my cat...I let her smell it and she backed away fast! Not happy with this product and it was expensive... additionally not happy with how you are packing and shipping items, over the past six months I have had so much damaged product, and while you Chewy are very good about refunds, it is very inconvenient, takes time and almost always the boxes are so heavy you CANNOT pick them up to move them!! When I brought this up several times to Reps, they just said we have no control over packing...really? nope from Sassy

By Sassy on Nov 6, 2020

My cat backed away from it so fast. I wish she would at least try it, but she gives her food dish a wide birth when this is in it.

Lamb green tripe is a pet superfood!

By Cherylayoung on Oct 1, 2020

...But my cat turns his nose up at it. I tried several different times on different days. I'm sad because my cat has kidney issues and this hydration booster is full of nutrients. But this product is worth a try for a healthy or sick cat.

    We love it!!!

By Stephanieloise on Jun 7, 2020

My cat Magnolia has had some health issues lately with her tummy. She had swollen lymph nodes and her whole small intestine was swollen. She was going downhill fast. She wouldn’t eat the prescription food from the vet. I decided to give this a try since she needed the extra hydration. She absolutely loved it! We have now been giving her one can a day and pairing it with the feline naturals wet food and ziwi wet food. She’s like a new kitty. She has energy and she’s gaining weight again! We are so happy and thankful!!! Highly recommended for cats who have digestive issues!!!

    Tripe is healthy

By Trish on Mar 27, 2020

I used to give my dogs tripe and they loved it. Was hoping our cat would too but sadly he refuses to eat it. Bought a whole case which was a mistake. I tried mixing his Wellness pate food in it but he still won’t touch it.

    Gross smell

By Elana on Nov 24, 2019

My picky cat scarfed this down, as she has all the Feline Natural flavors I’ve tried, but omg... the smell! 5 stars for her, 0 stars for me equals 3 stars. Plus the can contains only a couple of lumps of meat floating in a stinky milky liquid with large white globules of something floating in it. I’m going to have to subtract another star for that.

Only thing I could get my cat to eat when sick

By Laurel on Aug 29, 2019

I bought this locally and was horrified initially at the smell as well as the high price. But my cat was sick and wouldn't eat, partly because she was very congested. Tuna wasn't even working well enough anymore, which was very unusual for her. The pet store folks strongly recommended this, and I knew my girl needed extra hydration while sick, so why not? As others have said, it smells disgusting (like roadkill), but this isn't about me. All I know is that mixing this with her regular food made her eat again, so I will definitely be purchasing it again when I'm having trouble getting her to eat. I actually wish there was a version of just the liquid part. She has some food allergies and is otherwise I bought this locally and was horrified initially at the smell as well as the high price.
