Good for my cat with GI issues

I'm so glad I found Feline Natural! Since one of my cats developed GI issues it has been a long (and at times messy) journey trying to find a suitable wet food .. .One that he also loves to eat. I tried my vet's recommendation of Royal Canin and Hills sensitive lines and prescription lines which were ok but he got bored and turned his nose up eventually. I've tried many other very healthy brands but they were either not quite right or not tasty enough. This Feline Natural Lamb and Salmon Feast flavour is his favourite. He also likes Lamb Feast and Beef and Hoki Feast. Not a fan of the plain Beef nor the chicken (not surprisingly as I found out he has a reaction to turkey, so best he avoid all foul products anyway). The only other wet cat food I found to be ok is Weruva's Lamb Burger. But I can't feed him the same thing day in, day out. He gets bored. So Feline Natural with all the different flavours, has been an excellent solution. This brand is more expensive than most other brands but really not much more when I consider how much I was spending at the vet every month or so and long term, potentially much more if his bowels did not get under control . So it's worth every cent... And he's eating less now anyway because the food isn't going straight through him. His coat is super shiny and healthy and he's more playful. It's been months and he isn't bored or turning away from this food . The other great news is my other cat loves this food too so everyone is satisfied and I don't have to do separate feedings to keep the GI cat from eating something he shouldn't. I haven't tried the freeze dried options yet but that will be next. … more

Great product, cat just doesn't like it.

Our male cat just went through a bout of pancreatitis. I searched for the best food for him and found this one. After waiting for it to be in stock, I ordered. I love this brand of food. It is made of very good ingredients. Organ meat and all the things your cat needs. My cat loves all the flavors. I highly recommend it

    Kitty Approved

    By on

Once of my kitties has suffered from GI issues his entire life. As a kitten he suffered from diarrhea, mucus, and blood in his stool. He had been tested for parasites (giardia and trichomonas but the tests were negative.) He had been eating Royal Canin PR for 5 years and been doing pretty well but had become bored of the same food. After trying other food brands without any luck, Feline Natural allows my boy to receive variety in his diet. No GI signs! He likes all flavors but the ones with beef. I like that the food is relatively low in phosphorus (< 300mg/100cal) and has no gelling agents. Good stuff

    By on

I’m happy because it’s real food without junk such as artificial flavors, colors, and gelling agents, etc. Like, my cat cares about the color and needs artificial flavors! And he loves it. Costly, yes. But worth it in our estimation.

So is it wild from New Zealand?

    By on

I only gave it 4 stars because I am confused. My cat loved this food (at least for now). In reading the reviews, I got more and more confused about the salmon. Is it wild from New Zealand? Or the Pacific Northwest? Is it farmed (cages)? I think that should be stated more clearly on the packaging.

Best quality but not the taste I guess

    By on

Ingredients are superb among all the cans out there, but my cat stopped eating lots. I let him try one of those less healthier cans and afterwards he won't finish this flavor. I guess the taste is not that good for cats. But I'm still ordering these in autoship cuz can't find other cans with good ingredients...

    Kitty Heaven!

My 5 yr old Bailey, whom we just took in 8 weeks ago - she was eating food that was bad for her - I switched her over to this GOOD wet food & she is in heaven!!! Hopefully she'll begin to lose weight.

Nice and dense. My boy cleans his bowl. He loves it!

    By on

It seems easier on his tummy than his old brand, ZiwiPeak. That brand has pieces of bones in it and I think it was too hard to digest. This doesn’t have carrageenan in it or ash, which to me, is a plus. So hard now to find cat food that doesn’t have that stuff in it.

    I don’t know yet

    By on

This is a bigger can than I usually buy, but when I opened it there was some liquid in the can........maybe water? Not sure what it is. My cat sniffed it when I put it in her bowl, but wouldn’t eat it. She is finicky, so I’ll try a couple more times, keeping my fingers crossed that she will eventually eat it, after all it’s pretty expensive if you ask me.
