Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Feline Pine Clumping Litter offers the natural odor control with no added fragrances. It contains natural pine and clumping agent, plus mineral oil for dust control.
Feline Pine Cat Litter is made from completely dehydrated pine fibers, allowing it to absorb liquid like thousands of tiny sponges. Which means your cat's litter box will stay fresh and dry, making cleanup easy.
Feline Pine believes in sustainability. So no new trees are cut down in the production of this litter. Instead, it is made of kiln-dried shavings reclaimed from lumber production.

The texture was dramatically different on the last order of two bags that I received. This last order had much larger 'chunks' of litter vs the finer texture of previous orders. Someone recently posted that they thought the texture was different between the 14 and the smaller bags, but I always order the 14 lb bags and the texture was much finer in the past. I prefer the finer texture I don't know if this shipment was defective or if this was a one time difference based on manufacturing processes. Will wait until next order to find out, I guess.
Beware of the 14lb bag! We recently noticed that the pine litter in the 14lb bag is not as fine as the one in the 8lb bag. Very important for felines with very sensitive paws (or declawed kitties). Our cat would not use it and peed everywhere else (couch, bed, etc.) for two weeks until we figured out the difference. We switched back to the 8lb one (much finer litter) and he is a happy camper once again. Other than that we really love this product. It smells good, lasts for about 3-4 weeks and it is less dusty than clay litter.
I tried this litter after not being able to find our usual Tidy Cats Pine litter. This doesn’t have the fresh smell that our previous pine litter had and is VERY dusty. My 2 cats track this litter all over our apartment even with a mat outside box. It does do a great job at clumping and does a relatively fine job at absorbing the odor, but this is not a litter that I will regularly buy.
I wanted to try natural litters. I loved the light wood scent & concept of this litter. However my 5 month old kitten did not. He did not like the pellets, he would scoop around the pellets & go on the bottom of litter box. He couldn't bury his poop or pee which seemed to really upset him. He's a great easy kitten. Who's tried & been fine with any litter. Although he wasn't a big fan of Worlds Best Corn litter. He does like Abound corn litter. I was surprised, he didn't like this litter. We tried mixing it 50/50 at first with other litter. We mix 50/50 Fresh Step unscented. Which he likes, clay litter isn't my favorite. This litter wasn't for him. If your cat will use pellet litter this would be great.
The only good things are the odor control and smaller carbon footprint. This litter is awful. Almost impossible to scoop. It’s mixed pellets and powder granules. It is SO dusty. If you’re sensitive to pine, don’t buy at all. My black cat comes out of the box covered in pine dusty looking like she just rolled around in dirt. Lastly, it tracks so much more than any other litter I’ve used. I’ve been a cat owner for decades, a vet tech for a decade- I’ve used a lot of litters- this is not a worthy litter.
The litter we've used for 10 years was discontinued so I'm trying new brands of corn and pine litters, no clay. The photo showed and bag said this litter was not pellets, but it actually is in pellet form, but sort of crumbly, so texture thumbs down for what cats are used to. I lost my sense of smell this year from Covid twice, still not back to normal, so I couldn't smell it, but my mom immediately had a near-asthma attack from me pouring it out of the bag and said it had a super strong floral chemical smell and she had to go sit outside until we aired the house out, so that's the other thumb down. The A&H corn litter (it's a back-up litter) is better, but also has a strong smell that has never bothered my mom before, so this was just odd. Won't buy again.
I was very disappointed in this product, and my cat doesn't like it either. This did not measure up to my previous litter - Purina Tidy Cats Pure Nature. I tried Feline Pine because the description seemed closest to what I had been using. Pure Nature was no longer in the listing of choices. I would not purchase Feline Pine again.
This litter helps keep the smells at bay, but is extremely dusty! Sticks to paws & tracks everywhere. The dust also sticks to the sides of the litter boxes & kitties come out with dust on their little heads... Tried mixing it with the grass litter because it's so much cheaper, but won't be buying it again. Wish good litter wasn't $30 per bag...
This brand is much heavier (weighs more) than I anticipated. And there's a lot of pellets vs. Purina Pure Nature Cedar. I had to switch because Purina Tidy Cats Pure Nature Cedar, was discontinued. (very disappointed)
Our favorite corn litter was discontinued, so after reading reviews, we decided to try this. It is so dusty! At least 20% seems to be powder. We only put it in one of our 3 litter boxes, and good thing-our cats refuse to use it! They walked around in it, but went to different boxes instead.
