The spray may make vet visits, travel, new environments and loud noises less stressful for your cat.

I had never heard of this stuff before, and I can't say enough good things about it! I took my kitten to the vet for his first round of shots, etc. When the vet examined him, he totally came apart at the seams; he was literally SCREAMING and trying to get away. It was so bad that I had to leave the room. I have never heard or seen anything like it, and I've had cats all of my life; it was very traumatizing, to say the least. As soon as the assistant scruffed him, he went wild. I want to add that I have used this same vet for years, and he is wonderful. It wasn't his or his assistant's fault for what happened. Anyway, I knew I needed to take him back for followup vaccinations, so I looked online for a solution. I saw a blog where a person stated she had a similar situation with her kitten and tried Feliway. I looked it up and decided to try it. I can't believe how good this stuff works!! It's a miracle spray, and worth its weight in gold. He has another appointment coming up very soon, and that will be the true test!!! I highly recommend this!!!
Was a bit weary hesitant trying this out with trying to get our 2 cats one new as of 2 months ago and one our resident kitty to tolerate each other more. Well... this stuff works!! Our newer 14yr lady is more inclined to find her 10yr brother to see how he doing. I used this on thresholds from 2nd floor to 1st floor and all the in between scuffle zones. They both walk through the " magic portal" of calmness and being siblings with each other. Of course there are a few brother annoying sister sibling hiss swats but nothing like the before we had to pry them apart from hurting each other. Haven't tried it out with carriers and car rides for both who get very upset and sometimes leaky.. so gonna try it out though!! I am so happy to have these 2 seniors of different genders and way different upbringings getting along so nicely. Feliway you won me over.. :^)
Feliway is the best ever when the girls are acting up. If one goes to the doctor, when she gets home it’s as though they don’t recognize each other and the hissing and growling starts, we just spray the Feliway around and the 3 of them start to calm right down. Same with a foreign cat that maybe outside and they start with hissing, growling and want to fight, spray the lanai, close doors and spray house up near fans so it spreads and everybody starts to act like nice fur babies, which they are. They are all from same litter, adopted from a rescue 6 years ago.
Absolutely useless. I sprayed it in the travel case a few days before a move and she wouldn’t go near it. Tried spraying it near her bed, she went under my bed. What a waste of money.
Recently bought this to help calm my newly adopted kitten for their first vet visit. The kitten is about 10 months old and was very shy after coming from a hoarding environment. Well I sprayed the carrier before going to the vet and the results were phenomenal. The visit went smoothly and the car ride! I highly endorse this product.
First we used Feliway to train our indoor/outdoor cats to become strictly indoor cats before a move to townhome half way across the country. Then we used it for travel. Everyone is transitioning well and Feliway has been a big help.
I don't know if this product works. I followed directions, but It made both of my cats sick. Will try something else to calm my too aggressive cat.
I tried this for my car before our travel. Sprayed it to the bed on his tree. He hated it, couldn’t jump faster from the basket he loved. I washed the beds, sprinkled catnip and he still hates the tree. Try it first somewhere your cat doesn’t love.
I have to use the spray rather than the diffusers because I am one of the rare people who are allergic to this stuff. The diffusers plugged in work well for the cats but it makes me physically ill. So I have to use the spray in all the places the kits hang out. It has helped a lot in getting the kittens to settle down and in getting the jealous older cat to get along with them.
My kitty has hyperthyroidism. She was zooming all around the apartment frequently, which is a common side effect. These drops definitely help her. She feels better with them now I can’t have her on medication because we’re about to have the iodine shot. I put for drops each time I feed her.
