When you have an anxious cat, a simple trip to the veterinarian can become a huge hassle. So, help calm your kitty before leaving the house with Feliway calming spray. Instead of tranquilizing your pet, Feliway releases specific pheromones that naturally appease and calm cats—it's like sending your pal comforting messages through his nose. These messages are completely odorless and will only be perceived by your cat, so you, your dogs, and other animals won't feel a thing. Simply spray your car, wait 10 minutes, and bring your best bud along for the ride. It's a terrific way to help your kitty relax on the way to the vet or during long car, train or airplane trips—it can even be sprayed into his carrier to ease anxiety during crate travel. With Feliway, you and your favorite feline companion can make travel fun again.
Utilizes the power of natural pheromones to create a sense of safety and calm.
Spray in cars, crates or on your cat's favorite plush toy to make traveling less scary for him.
Designed to help make travel and vet visits less stressful for you and your furry best friend.
May help to reduce crying, shaking and pacing during travel—for your cat, of course.
Natural feline pheromone is only detected by cats—so it's safe to spray around your canine friends and won't affect you or your human family members.
For some reason, my kitten really hated this spray. I followed the instructions, spraying on the blanket inside the carrier. But one sniff of the carrier sent Cannoli scampering. It was really difficult to put him in his carrier and he started scratching and biting so aggressively that I had to take him out and replace the blanket in the carrier. He has never loved the carrier, I always had to lure him in with treats, but I had never seen him this aggressive. With the reviews, I had high hopes for this product but it didn't work for me and Cannoli.
Didn’t do much of anything

This was a very expensive item that I purchased to try and integrate a new cat with a resident cat.
I dont believe it made any difference, and when I sprayed it on a few of the scratching posts the cats actually WALKED AROUND it...no attraction there.
I would skip it.

My cats were having a rift between them. The neutered male got a bladder infection. That made him grumpy, then a bunch of feral cats that would come on our desk. Constant fussing. I got my little spray bottle. Once a day I walk through and depending o he size of the room did a spray in their favorite areas. They are happy again. I ordered the multi at formula. Great product.
Jury is still out

I have 4 cats and 2 in particular don't get along. I use a diffuser at home and it seems to keep things calmer for the most part. I used the travel spray when taking a cat to the vet. It didn't seem to do much. Maybe I didn't spray the carrier early enough. I'll try using it earlier next time. But at this point I'm not sure I can recommend it.

I sprayed it in my car prior to a visit to the vet. He was fine in the car (but i was also there which calms him). After his vet visit they suggested a prescription because he was not a happy boy with the vet. So, I’m not sure how effective this spray was.
Kept cats calm

Placed a towel in cat carriers before I loaded each cat before I put my cats in. I sprayed the towels heavily before I put cats in. It kept cats calm BEFORE their vet visit.

This calming cat spray helps my two cats relax when they go on monthly trips from Los Angeles to San Francisco. A lot less meowing now.

I have been using plug-in Feliway for years and find that any little movement sends the fumes into the air. Hence, me trying this a few times and it seems to calm Nico down to the point where falls asleep!
