I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to dispute the negative reviews this cage has somehow gotten. YES, it is a little difficult to put together, but no more so than any of the other large cages by other brands I've ever owned. The instructions are all in photos but are easy enough to follow (and I'm pretty visually impaired, so if I could decipher what was being shown, it can't be that difficult to do). It takes a little time, but once it's together it is super sturdy and MASSIVE. For the price, I can't imagine finding a better cage.

This cage is very large. My two guinea pigs are extremely happy in this cage and have lots of room to run and play. The cage is perfect for them. However, as the human who has to clean and maintain it there are some issues. The separate areas of the cage do not connect nicely. There are clips that are supposed to keep the sections of the cage together but they are flimsy and fall off each time I open the cage. My solution for this was to buy zip ties and use them on the corners of the cage, as well as, to connect both sections. Once I added the zip ties the cage was much more sturdy and satisfactory.

I love this cage for my guinea pigs that I bought another for my rabbit. Very spacious with plenty of room to run. Assembly was not that difficult and easy to clean.

giving three starts strictly for the instructions SUCKED. two of the clips did not work. the instructions were purely pictures and while that might seem easy, it is not when a good bit of the parts are identical LOOKING but curve slightly different. the set up was a nightmare. that being said, my two girls (guinea pigs) love their newfound space that they have. and are continuously popping of happiness.

I’m against cages for bunnies, but I am going to my grandmas and my bunny is coming with so I made sure to get the biggest cage I can possibly find, which is this one. I am 5”2 and I was laying in it with my knees bent. It’s so hard to assemble so grab some wine or beer and get to assembling it!

I think it’s good, I just got this product for two Guinea pigs that I have and they loved it, they started running and I can tell they liked it. I think this is enough space for them.. No instructions on the box only pictures though!! Overall it works pretty good.

The water bottles don't flow well. I had to remove them. Having the door flip up causes escaping rabbit. There is no easy way to clean the cage without taking it all apart. The long sides took many times to click and stay together. The clamps on the outside are easily bumped off when the rabbit hits the cage. I have to have use clips for secured lock. The size and height are good but that is all I can say good about it.

Overall, I’d say it’s okay. I wouldn’t use it for a large rodent or rabbit but my bunny is recovering from the loss of her sister and surgery so I needed a good home base for her. It works well as a safe zone for rabbits to hop to when they’re scared and it’s good for if you’re going to be gone for a couple hours at most. This is not something a rabbit can live in! I don’t think I can stress this enough, there is not enough room for a rabbit to live in here. I had a couple issues with this hutch, but not an exponential amount like I do with most hutches. My second issue was that it was kind of difficult to put together, the instructions aren’t horribly clear because there are no words, just pictures. Also, the snapping pieces are really difficult to put on. Mine popped of like three separate times each before I was able to “secure” them. Third, It came with a bunch of accessories that I don’t really need, like two water bottles and two tiny hay racks. Water bottles are NOT good for rabbits, except for in select circumstances and the hay racks don’t hold enough hay. The hay racks also don’t attach to the cage completely, they are loose at the bottom which means that my rabbit just flips the bottom to cheat and get all her treats really quick. Fourth, the packaging came damaged. There were holes all on the box and the cellophane. Fifth, the doors can be weird. It’s almost like they don’t fit properly or something because I kind of have to shove the larger door to the right and then push the smaller door down. But then the larger door pushes in to far and my bunny is able to maneuver out. She also figured out how to open it if it isn’t locked with the clips. Sixth, the clips slide. I have to make sure that they are pushed down all the way, but even then, sometimes they slide like they’re going to pop off. Anyway, sorry that I wrote a super long review, but I like everyone to know what they’re buying. As for recommendations, I would say maybe, leaning towards yes. This is a good cage. Its very roomy for my 2 guinnea pigs . I like that the cage opens from the side instead of the top. Its not the most sturdy but its good. My husband put it together and it was not easy. Be prepared to have it take some time to put together and the directions were pretty vague with only pictures , no words. All in all i am satisfied with it.
