waste of money
The toy is very cute. I have an 8 pound dog who has never destroyed anything. Got it figuring the reviews were more about the larger dogs so maybe they were just accidentally stronger…nope. From seeing others’ pictures I don’t even think it was her, so many tear in the exact same spot. Don’t buy it.
Chewbacca strikes Back- Very disappointed with Quality
I thought this was going to be an exceptional gift for my little guy's first birthday as his name is Chewbacca but sadly, it did NOT fulfill expectations. He played with this toy for about 10 mins and it was already ripped on the side. So, unfortunately I had to take the toy away from him. Cute toy but just poorly made :( I was kinda disappointed because this was my first order with Chewy too.
Cute but....
Our dog (lab mix) destroyed this toy in less than 12 hours. She's generally not destructive. This is actually the first toy she's destroyed. Not for dogs with teeth.
Super Disappointing
Similar experience from everyone else. Did not last more than a few minutes of play before it was town open and stuffing everywhere. It’s a cute toy, but poor manufacturing.
Came apart at the seams in 2 minutes
Got this toy because the Chewbacca Rope Ring (which was great) was out of stock. This toy did not last more than 2 minutes before it came apart at the seams. The toy seems to be over stuffed and the back material of the body (non furry part) is easily punctured by teeth.
Only lasts for a day...
12 week old puppy tore this thing up within 10 minutes of receiving it. It's a cute toy, but... Don't buy it if you don't want to waste money!

My non aggressive chewer has put holes in the back where the nylon is. But my biggest complaint is he tries to pull The fur out
It's a trap!
I bought this for my friend's dog, who is named after a Star Wars character. He is about 45/50lbs and destroyed it in 3 hours. The quality looked good, and like it could handle some tussling but it was gone so fast. The toy looks good, but maybe it would be better for a smaller dog.
Definitely not well made
This toy was completely not worth it. We are huge Star Wars fans and got very excited when we saw this. When it finally arrived, our puppy basically shredded the back of it within 10 minutes of taking it out of the box.
Poorest quality toy I’ve ever bought!
Very poor quality. Within 5 mins of giving her this, it had the holes in it that you can see in the picture. 10-15 mins later & it’s as you see here. She was shredding it fiber by fiber in her bed with ease. My thumb is in the hole she made within 20 mins of getting it to give size reference along with the dog that did the damage. She’s a 50 lb hound mix (rescue at 3 months old, no idea of actual breeds involved but her ears tell a lot!) & I’m a 6’1” 190 lb average male with a handspan of 9” from pinky to thumb for further reference. I wouldn’t recommend this at all unless your dog literally is the lightest chewer ever. My girl is an average chewer and she tore this apart within 30 mins. That’s unacceptable for even $8 or whatever. Total rip off & I strongly wouldn’t recommend. Even though I can cut it & salvage the rope, I would have just bought a better rope for the price. I wanted a fluffy rope chew that would at least last her 6 months & I got a raw deal instead. Buy a normal rope.
