I decided to try this for my 4 male rats who have a double critter nation. While they seem to enjoy the fluff I get from this bedding and digging in it, it does absolutely nothing for odor control. I typically clean my cage weekly but it’s been less than 48 hours with this bedding and I already need to do a full strip. I think I’ll stick with what I previously used instead.

I normally use the regular/colored Fibercore bedding for my rats, and was hesitant about this one because I couldn't find any info about the ammonia blocker used... I decided to give it a chance anyway but unlike the picture three bag said it was scented, and scented anything is bad for rats, so I just wasted money on bedding that could be harmful for my babies

I like this bedding for it's odor control, that it's practically dust free and that my mouse can't push it out of his cage easily. My mouse likes it for burrowing and putting it in his bed for extra warmth. It's difficult to spot clean because dry droppings fall to the bottom of the cage but that helps with odor and keeps your critter away from their waste. I pull out the top inch of the bedding 2 or 3 times a week and do a weekly bed change.

This kind of bedding is better than your average bedding but isn't odor control as it is labeled, I started to smell my hamsters cage after just a few days. He definitely enjoyed the way this bedding holds in shape once he's created a tunnel but other than that, I really wasn't impressed and won't be buying this brand again as it only last 1.5 bedding changes and didn't control the smell.

I switched to this for my4 adult male Rats after battling constant URIs and mites .I used fleece, wood bedding and other paper products such as carefresh that claimed to be dust free. I find this product remarkable with no odor and have had no respiratory issues since switching. I use Yesterdays news(Unscented) underneath in the bottom pan

I was a little apprehensive about this bedding. I had visions of it getting stuck in my hedgehog’s quills, but I decided to try it. He LOVES it!!! He makes tunnels in it and really seems to like it. It doesn’t get stuck on him. The odor control is awesome and his crate looks so much cleaner without poop sitting on top of the paper bedding. I should be able to change his crate 5 or 6 times from the box. We love this bedding and will purchase it from now on.

I have used this bedding for 6 years and love it! The Guinea pigs love it too. The odor control is great and it does the job. Safe, environmentally friendly, what’s not to like?
