The perfect indoor/outdoor portable pet home that is great for traveling. The Petnation dog Port-a-Crate sets up easily in just seconds, folds flat for storage and has convenient padded carrying handles on the 16" and 20" models. There are top and front entry doors for easy entry and exit for your pet.
Lightweight washable durable and well ventilated spring/summer pet house.
Constructed with extra strong steel frame heavy duty zippers with door lock ventilated mesh panels and durable water resistant base.
Rounded corners to protect auto interiors and home décor.
This item is lightweight and EASY to set up and take down. I was very pleased with this product until I left my dog in the crate for less than 30 minutes while I ran to grab dinner. He was able to scratch the mesh door and tear a hole in it thus escaping. I was disappointed but still use the product as an outside house for him when we're traveling to car shows or outside swimming as a place for him to go and rest.

My dogs are all crate trained. None of them will paw at the doors or dig to be let out. That said, no soft crate will hold up to that abuse, so be sure if you order a soft crate that your dogs are well trained beforehand. I take this crate every week to agility training and house two dogs in it during the day. It is easy to carry, fold up, set up, and move.
The only cons I have are air flow and the zippers. There are no huge screens, besides the door, to let air in so the crate gets a bit stuffy and hot even when it's cold in the outdoor building we train in. I may be able to correct this with a portable fan. My youngest dog pants and seems uncomfortable while inside it and when opening theMy dogs are all crate trained. I may be able to correct this with a portable fan. My youngest dog pants and seems uncomfortable while inside it and when opening the crate I get hit with stale air. If this crate had big screen sides it wouldn't be as sturdy, though.
My only other concern are the zippers on the top opening and front door. More than a few times they don't seem to zip correctly. Since my dogs do not push on the crate door I haven't worried about them getting out. A good scratch at the zippers would bust them open. We will see how long they last with non destructive use. For the price, it's exactly what I needed.… more
My dog loves this!

My standard poodle (70 lbs) fits just right in here. I leave the door down and he goes in and out as he pleases. His nose sticks out from under the door as he sleeps (so funny). I can secure him in it but we don't need to. He just likes to have his cozy place. Easy to travel with also
Does not hold up to description.

I have a female husky that is 9 months old. The mesh is suppose to be indestructible or close to it and the very first time she used it she tore the mesh in the front screen. This may be good for very small dogs but does not work for large dogs.
A great crate ONLY IF you reinforce the front door!

I purchased this for my relatively calm 24# goldendoodle puppy and was pleased with the aesthetics, size, and overall design. That is, UNTIL the seams on the front door (which is mesh) started coming apart after a week. This was due to a little mild scratching / pawing at the door by the puppy (only occasionally in the morning - which is normal behavior for most dogs). Chewy graciously offered to have a new one shipped out, so I'm having to look at having a local seamstress make some sort of reinforcement so it doesn't happen again (which is kind of a pain at this point).

Bought this for our english bulldog but our pug claimed it. She loves it. However, there is a tear in the fabric up by the zipper. Hoping it doesn't spread.
do you inspect your items before they are shipped? or was this fedEx doing?

I'm only giving 3 stars due to the box came smashed up and opened on both ends.(FedEx delivered) those moisture packets you put into packaging were all ripped open and leaked out into the box and the kennel, so I had to vacuum the kennel out and my carpet before I was able to set it up. kennel itself was not damaged easy setup and so far the material seems tough and zippers all work. my 22lbs dog has plenty of room to stretch out on her bed with room for her water and food bowl. she loves it and I noticed she's calmer and less restless at night.

It's hard to recommend buying this item as it arrived obviously already used and the metal pole was broken. The canvas looks fairly strong, but I'm not sure I would trust the mesh with a large active pet. Someone else apparently thought so and already returned this item.

I really had high hopes for this kennel. It is very easy to assemble...both to put up and to take down to store. However, within the first week... our Gussie was able to scratch the mesh by the zippers enough to tear a hole. Not sure if there is a fix for the zipper door... if there is, I would love to know what it is... because like I said... I love this kennel... the look and the space it allows by lab to roam if needed.
