    Love this disc!

Highly recommend this product for anything from exercises, balance, rehabilitation, etc., and just for Fun!! Has multiple uses. Would recommend getting the air pump. Quality is superb, material holds up against dog nails. This is the perfect size for my Australian Shepherd who is 40 lbs. Also bought 2 FitPAWS Pads and they are perfect as well! FitPAWS is worth getting the best.

    Not worth the $$

Disappointed in this product. Chemical odor is horrible, even after airing outside for a week and cleaning it. It doesn't hold the air well so need to add air after every use. Keep looking

Great for balance & body awareness

    By on

We got the smaller disc for our 50lb golden and it’s perfect! We’ve been working on two-paw touches with it and it’s the perfect diameter for him to stand comfortably on with his front or rear paws. If he really squishes, he can fit all 4 paws on it, but that’s not generally what we’re using it for, we discovered that feature when he was being silly one time. We started with the classic “upside down rubber feed bin” but this is so much more elegant and the low-profile wobble is the perfect challenge for our pup.

    It is alright

I was super excited about this and I could just be using it wrong but it flats out a lot when my dog steps on it and I feel like it isn’t working for the money I spent unfortunately but definitely could work with some dogs

Love this and so does my corgi. We are using it to strengthen his core during our down time. Highly recommend for the serious dog athletes.

    great for Proprioception training

    By on

This is used for doggie yoga I train service dogs and this is a great tool for all sorts of balance and strength building as well as hind end awareness. I use it with the front paws on and the dog heels as I walk around the ball the dog keeps her paws on the apparatus while rotating in both directions. Do it again with back paws on while front paws are on floor.... again rotating left then right around the ball and even have the dog put all 4 paws on there and even sit on it... works on balance and strengthening muscles for uneven unsteady surfaces.

    Does not come with DVD

    By on

The giant balance disc itself is perfectly as expected. It’s easy to inflate and put right to use! However, it does not come with an instructional DVD as the description says. I’ve alerted Chewy to the discrepancy.

    Challenging Fun!

    By on

Sturdy so far - we've only been using it for about a week. It does not have a chemical odor like plastic items often have. It would be helpful if the disk came with more detailed inflation instructions like a maximum limit. I looked on their website and could only find the same information as the printed flyer that came with the disk. My girls are having fun learning how to balance!

    Expensive but it works

    By on

I bought two discs for my 60 lbs Aussie. They work great to improve her core and it’s challenging for her. I found helpful tutorials online with additional help from a dog physical therapist. I tried the Bosu ball and the pilates balance discs and they don’t work as well. These Fitpaws discs are money well spent.

As always, Chewy was great, fast, accurate, and reasonable. Now if I can just get my puppy balanced on it -a 10
