Only for level, indoor use

We were so excited about this set, and the other reviews were so positive! I agree that it’s lightweight and portable, and the design is clever.. if you’re only setting them up on a perfectly level surface indoors. We tried this set outside first, and spent more time picking up jumps and pieces than actually introducing/training the dogs. Even a little breeze and the whole setup comes crashing down. Do I want my dog to trip on a jump and get hurt? OF COURSE NOT! But these are so delicate that they are useless even as cavaletti because they fall before you can get near them. It’s also miserable to put the set back in the bag, and I don’t imagine the zipper will survive that stress for long. Love fitpaws gear normally, but this one misses the mark for us. Still gave it 3 stars because if you set it up indoors, on concrete, it’s less flimsy (but who wants to jump or work their dog on concrete?! Even the rubber mats made it less stable.)

Great product

Cones are nice and substantial. Using cones to hold jump bars is clever, cost effective, space-saving, and versatile. The system works well. It’s portability is a nice feature and it’s not overly flimsy for practical purposes.

Does exactly what it is designed for

As with any pieced conditioning equipment, the pieces should be able to to "break away" if the dog moves incorrectly or accidentally knocks it as this is a safety factor. FitPaws is one of the best companies in this market. I love their products.
