This comes in wonderful handy when you’re out of live bugs, or if you’re just having a day where you don’t feel like dealing with creepy crawlies. I put a shake of this on his food, and he devours it. Such a great find!
I have given this to both my previous hamster and my current hamster, and both have enjoyed it! My previous hamster, Daisy, was a Syrian. She liked to take the cricket from me, bite it's head off and toss the body! It was hilarious! She would eventually eat the rest of the cricket (or grasshopper). She was an adult when I got her, so I don't think she needed as much of the nutrition these provide (and she would only eat about 1 per week or less). My current hamster, Tucker, is a Chinese. He is still growing and he gobbles these up! Since he is young and growing, I give him these more frequently - about 1-2 every 2-3 days. He seems to really enjoy them! I mostly got this mix for the crickets and grasshoppers. I have separate mealworms that I like better, so next time I think I'll get just the crickets or grasshoppers. I would definitely recommend this mix for hamster parents, especially if you are just starting out. Feeding for hamsters should be 1-2 bugs 2-3 times per week, less frequent for older hamsters. Hamsters do eat insects in the wild and they do require some animal protein in their diets, so this is a good treat option!
These are great if you don't like to do live feeding, or if you run out of live bugs this comes in clutch!
Best thing I ever got her.. She loved them my bearded dragon
My Granddaughter has this dragon and he likes the dry bugs. As long as he is liking them I will continue getting this for him. Thank you Chew for having this because I was having a hard time finding live cricket for him. Again Thank you.
My bearded dragon loves these dried bugs. She gets Flukers buffet blend, but quickly eats all the bugs and picks at the red pellets. I top off the left overs with more bugs and it encourages her to eat more pellets. Also makes a good salad topper for beardies when you want to get more protein in them.
My beardy loves these. I fill the lid full and she eats them all. Wish there was a bigger jar
Excellent Service, Speedy Delivery, Helpfull Courteous Employees and Delivery People. I highly recommend Chewy
My daughter's Bearded dragon name Kelpie. She loves it! When she sees me pour some dried mealworms and dried crickets in her bowl, she hurried to it and ate it all. Happy tummy!
I just received this product from Chewy.com. Brutus, my bearded dragon ate this food like he has never ate before. I highly recommend this food. Jar is smaller than I was expecting though not a deal breaker. Box had no packing material which means the product was loose in the box and rattled around when I picked it up off our porch.
