Does this food float?

This food should float until the food soaks in the water.
Do you feed this dry or can it be moistened with water? My box turtle will not eat dry foods, she's very old (70-80 years per reptile vet). Thank you

For best results, feed only the amount of Buffet Blend that the turtles will consume in one day. Buffet Blend should be scattered on the water, where it will float. The turtles will eat this for 15 to 20 minutes and then bask for a period of time. The remaining food will break up and sink to the bottom.
