    Easy to feed

    By on

I have two bearded dragons, and one in particular loves to eat. During quarantine/COVID-19 I was having difficulties obtaining enough live feeders on a regular basis, and I wanted a back up food source in case the several pet stores around me were out of feeders. Both of my dragons enjoyed it, and I liked that it still retains moisture even once you’ve opened a bag. I still think live feeders and fresh greens daily is the best option for beardies, but this option was great for the situation and gave my dragons nutrients they couldn’t get from greens alone.

    My Dragons Said "NOPE."

    By on

I was really excited for them to try this bc it looks to be much healthier than those Flukers crunchies, but they hated it. They were rather dramatic about it too. I tried offering it in various ways on different days and even putting it with their live food so they'd "accidentally" eat it. Nope. It also has to be refrigerated after opening which is kind of a hassle and it smells like B.O. (which I couldn't tell you if that's how it's supposed to smell or if it went bad?)

Beardie loves it, Mom is skeptical.

    By on

Bub would eat the whole bag in one sitting without hesitation. He LOVES this product. However, as a rule I don't feed him spinach (among other things) because it hinders the absorbtion of calcium. Unfortunately this product does contain spinach. I only bought it to try and vary his diet a bit more and get him to eat his salad (I use it as a salad topper). Both goals were met, but I'll only feed this to him sparingly to avoid calcium deficiency.

    Adult 5 yrs old

    By on

My adult bearded dragon is very picky! So picky I have to feed her veggies daily out of an eye dropper! Maybe she is just lazy and spoiled but I want to make sure she gets her veggies. I buy baby food veggies and add her calcium, vitamins and minerals.

good treat/supplement for blue tongue skink

    By on

I use this as a treat and supplement for my blue tongue skink. It says it's for bearded dragons and other omnivorous reptiles so I got it for my bts and he loves it! It's not his primary food though, as it's highly processed and does not meet all the requirements he needs. It's a great treat for hand feeding and tongue feeding. I've also found if your animal doesn't seem to like it, try squishing it and touching it to their mouth. Hope this helps!

Only one of my babies ate it

    By on

I have several bearded dragons and i was very disappointed with this food the only reason its getting 2 stars is because i have one dragon out of my dozen that hesitated but she still ate it so majority rules this one can't recommend and i won't by again

    Yummy in my tummy

Groot approves! Looks pretty gross. This is a pretty good substitute for a real live bug.

    Fussy Dragon

    By on

My Bearded Dragon wouldn't eat this food. I'm sure it isn't the food itself. She's fussy. I ordered something different.
