Give your pet a happy hiding spot with Fluker's Critter Cavern Half-Log Reptile Hideout! Created for your terrestrial reptiles, amphibians and small animals, this fun hideaway is a perfect alternative to plastic or resin hiding areas as a natural habitat for your pet. Designed to add privacy to your terrarium, it also helps reduce the stress your pet experiences due to captivity. Craft an even more comfortable hiding spot for your pet by simply adding terrarium moss inside the half-log for a relaxing humid shelter that also adds a sense of security. This is also great for use with tortoises, terrestrial turtles, aquatic amphibians, terrestrial amphibians, invertebrates, lizards, and snakes.
Choose the appropriate size of Fluker's Critter Cavern for your pet's terrarium. The cavern comes in different sizes, so make sure to select the one that will fit comfortably in your pet's enclosure. Place the Cavern in your pet's terrarium in a location that provides easy access but also offers some privacy. Terrestrial reptiles, amphibians, and small animals need a sense of security and a place to hide, so make sure to position the cavern in a spot where your pet can easily access it. Optional: Add Terrarium Moss inside the cavern to provide a humid shelter for your pet. The moss will help keep the hiding spot moist and comfortable, especially for reptiles and amphibians that require high humidity levels. Monitor your pet's behavior and make sure they are using the Fluker's Critter Cavern. If your pet is not using the cavern, try moving it to a different location or adding some bedding material to make it more comfortable.
