When I opened the can the smell almost knocked me over. My lizard wouldn’t go anywhere near the things. I guess it must be an acquired taste.

My beardie boy loves these! Even if I just dump them in a bowl as I'm rushing to work, they are always gone when I come home. He sees me open the can and gets excited! Between shipments of live, this is a lifesaver product.
Stank up the whole room

I bought these for my lizard so I Would not have to drive to the store once a week to get her crickets but this was not the right option. They came in a jelly like consistency and smelled rancid. They makes my whole room stink for days and my lizard refused to eat them.

Leopard Gecko loves them!

I got a gecko from a rescue situation, and never owned a reptile before. I was told Leopard Geckos will not eat dead insects. I put some live crickets in her enclosure and put one of these moist dead ones in a little dish, with vitamin/calcium dust on it. She ate it, so I just feed her these now. I don’t have to deal with the care of live crickets now. I end up throwing a lot of the can away, they spoil in 3-ish weeks under refrigeration (you can smell when they are spoiled), but it’s worth it to not deal with live insects.

I found big black bugs in with the crickets. The crickets were smashed. I will not buy this again.
My Red Star Pullet, 5 months old, loves these crickets.

Peepers would eat the whole can in one sitting if I let her. The price here is fabulous because at some pet stores they can sell for $6.99!

Our blue tailed skink really love them! She normally doesn’t go after the meal worms like she did these!
