Are these ok for hedgehogs
Answer by ChewyJan 16, 2018
This product is suitable for hedgehogs.

There is a significant amount in each jar. How long will the mealworms stay good for when kept refridgerated?
Answer by ChewyMay 07, 2022
It is recommended keeping them in a refrigerator set at 45°F until ready for use. When you are ready to use them, remove the desired amount and leave at room temperature until they become active, roughly 24 hours before feeding to your animal. They can be kept in the fridge for up to two weeks. If planning to keep them for longer than two weeks, remove them from the refrigerator and let them become active. Once they become active, place a slice of potato on the top of the bedding to provide moisture, and let them sit for 24 hours. Then, place them back in the refrigerator.

Our leopard gecko loves these little worms which is great because we live 8 hours away from a supply of live worms. I’m just wondering how long they last on the shelf before we open the can. I’d like to stock up but only want to buy as much as we can use.
Answer by ChewySep 12, 2018
Each can will have an expiration date printed on the label. Once opened they will last 2-3 weeks in the refrigerator.

Are they live meal worms
Answer by ChewySep 30, 2021
These meal worms are not live.

Got these for my death feigning beetles and they really enjoyed them - do remember to refrigerate or your gonna come back to mold-galore.

Hedgie approved

My hedgehog loves these mealworms as snacks! I give him about 5 per night bc hedgies can’t eat too many of these, so my only con is that almost half the can goes bad before he can finish them

sinking meal worms

Bought this for our aquarium turtle. He does not like these. They sink to the bottom of the tank. He likes his food floating. If your pet will eat from the bottom of the tank, this looks like some really good stuff to feed them. Looks and feels very fresh. My turtle just wont eat anything on the bottom of the tank.

Mockingbirds love this!

The mockingbird pair that hangs around my yard cannot get enough of these worms. In the summer they will fill their beaks with at least five or six worms and feed them to their young.

Great food, Yummy!

All of my reptiles love this for a treat. I like that I don't need to keep anything extra, like with live food. Just make sure you refrigerate it!
