    Hermit crab loves these

    By on

My 23 year old hermit has a new favorite food. Spiro heads straight to the dish when I put these in. I’m not sure how long they keep in the refrigerator once the can is opened, so I plan to freeze some of them when the next can arrives. Crazy looking little shrimps!

    Hermit Crabs LOVE this!

    By on

This stuff is oh so stinky and the crabs love every second of it, haha. I've already repurchased once and this will continue to be a part of my crabs diet. I've never seen them react so much to any other type of food/treat.

    Mine loved it

    By on

My very large hermit crab absolutely loves these! He comes out within minutes of putting it in. I actually felt guilty having to toss the can after a week and a half so I am back on today to reorder.

    Hermies Love This Stuff!

It's a little hard to judge reptile responses, but when this is offered they seem to respond very quickly as if they don't want to miss out!

Fluker’s River Shrimp? Hermit crab caviar!

    By on

I recently acquired a hermit crab from a vendor that had no knowledge of hermits or their care. After reading about them, doing everything right, she still ate only tiny bits of feed about every 4 days. I opened the can of River Shrimp last evening...of course my cats went nuts just anticipating a treat, but I put 5 of the tiny, wet, pink shrimp on the edge of Claw- Deea’s feeding shell, and she IMMEDIATELY crawled out of her hut and went to the bowl. I went to bed, and when I looked in her habitat 6 1/2 hours later, all the shrimp were eaten, as was the bee pollen, chia seed & dried kelp powder the shrimp laid on. I was so afraid she’d never find a food she liked. Fluker’s products in general I recently acquired a hermit crab from a vendor that had no knowledge of hermits or their care. Smelly Lil' Shrimp

    By on

I wasn't paying attention when I reupped my hermit crab proteins. As I popped the can, a splash of juicy stinky shrimp water doused my shirt; the scent of canned river crustaceans brought all my cats to the room. My hermit crabs (over 20 rescues) attacked these voraciously, leaving no spare bit of carapace behind. While I typically don't order wet shrimp or insects for my crabs, I must say that mine seemed to enjoy these lil' snackie bois.
