Never want to use anything else

In my research, this is the most eco-friendly dog poop option out there. Anything biodegradable ends up never degrading in a landfill (they mummify due to lack of CO2 in the decomposition process) and can truly only degrade is you bury them! Wild. Don't be fooled by green or brown colored bags--that's feeding into your eco-friendly ethos. These do flush, however, my apartment has a weak toilet so I can't flush them. The toilet at my job is made for high traffic and has no problem with these. So, while I can't use them to their full extent at the moment, I'd rather not stimulate the need for more single-use plastic. These are the easiest bags I've EVER had to open (I can be posted up trying to open plastic bags for AGES--Mila gets bored and lies down waiting for me). The only downside is that due to the alcohol composition, these smell awful and once poop is in the bag, the moisture starts activating the breakdown process. Not enough to make a hole in the bag by any means, but....you can feel wet poop through the bag and that's not cute. Nor does it smell cute. That's only not a complete deterrent though. … more

    Beware Plumbing Issues

By Mark on Mar 19, 2020

We have used these exclusively for around a year and a half. We just had a plumbing team pulling these out of our line completely intact, and they will have to dig up our line to unclog it. $3500 repair at least.

Been using these for over six months

    By on

My dog is a medium to large girl. She and I moved to a condo and I am a responsible dog owner, so I scoop. These bags, unknotted can be flushed safley. I have had no problems with them and prefer being able to flush her stuff

    bad doggie bags

    By on

Don't like these bags, weird smell and feel rubbery, a bit difficult to pull out, tear, and open up. Not for large dogs either. I will not buy them again.

    not for big poops

    By on

It drives me crazy that we walk around picking up a compostable item & tie it off in plastic before shipping it to a landfill, so I thought these would be great! Turns out they smell a little funky - but whatever, I'm doing a small thing to save the planet. If they get too hot, they will start to stick to each other which means if you live in Texas in the summer, you've got to keep a close eye on where they are. It could have all been okay though until I tried to pick up my 65# dog's poops which frankly are just too large for the bags. Often I'd end up rebagging it so that I could tie it off without getting poop on my hand and that felt fairly counterproductive. It was worth a shot though! Best Cleanup Idea for Small Yard and Large Dog

    By on

I love these bags. It makes clean up of our small yard so easy. I have a lab and want to make sure I pick up after her. These make it easy and they flush with no problems.

    Best option for now

    By on

These are both strangely thick and tear easily. They are difficult to get off the roll, but suddenly a seam will be open. I've ended up with poop on my hands and sprayed ALL OVER myself during a run more times than I would like to admit. They can feel slimy but don't necessarily disintegrate when my hands are sweaty from a run or in the rain. I can vouch that they DO break down when left in water though. I have very mixed feelings about them, but I will continue to buy them. Honestly, I can wash my hands (and leash, clothes, etc), but I can't get plastic to breakdown in landfills any more quickly. Until there is a better solution, I think this is the best I've got.

i like them but i dont

I ordered these and I was very turned off by the texture of them. If you have every made glue in art class & got to the part where the glue was half forming yet still goopy, that's kind of what these bags feel like. I do have to let it sit in my toilet for at least ten minutes before I can flush them. Sometimes they still do clog my toilet & I have to get out the plunger, but over all they are ok. I'm indifferent about them. Give em a try!
