Feed 2 - 3 times a day, allowing approximately 2 minutes for food consumption. For many species of fish, smaller more frequent feedings are preferable. This facilitates digestion and prevents overfeeding. Some species may require up to 5 minutes, such as most bottom feeders and discus.
My filter tends to take in some of the dry food I feed, what can I do?
Use a feeding ring. It very effectively contains floating food in 1 location, allowing fish, and not the filter or gravel, to easily obtain food.

This is just the right size. I bought larger bottles and by the time you get to the bottom, its all powder. They flakes here are usually ok size. I also like the variety of shrimp and krill and fish. I dont have to buy separate for each one. And cichlids like their variety of 'meat'!

DONT USE IF YOU HAVE BIG CICLIDS

I wanted to find something with flakes, this was not the best, the flakes were way to small and it just made a mess in my tank. Fish did not care to eat as well. This maybe work for baby cichlids but if your fish are bigger than 4 inches I don't recommend this at all.

Tried this for my fish( Angel ) they would eat it but just not every day ,had to switch back and forth between different foods.good price though.

Ciclids prefer flake and this was rapidly consumed without clouding water
