Answer by ChewyJan 21, 2021
This kit is specifically designed for the Fluval EDGE Power Filter.

How offer do you think I would have to change this media in my tank? 3 gallons ( i have a betta fish)
Answer by ChewyFeb 28, 2019
The Foam Filter Insert should be rinsed monthly using water from the aquarium and replaced every 2 - 3 months. BIOMAX pores become clogged over time and should be replaced every two to three months. To ensure constant presence of beneficial bacteria, never replace both Foam Filter Insert and BIOMAX Filter Insert at the same time.

Too small for my unit

Foam is smaller than appears and bio max is in a bag that is too big to fit the unit it’s supposed to go with.

Perfect for Azoo Mignon Filter 60

I was cutting bigger sponges and Biomax bags (then having to sew it up) in half to fit. This is the perfect size for the Azoo filter. I only use these 2 items in my filter. Saving me a lot of hassle and the price is good. You may have to cut the sponge a little because the Azoo is slanted on the back. But great height.

Quick Quality Costly

This is great! For an overstocked aquarium, I change Carbon week one, BioMax week two, Carbon week three, and Sponge week four along with suction clean out and water change. My GloGirls Pinkie, Amber, Ember, Emerald, the GloBoys Red, Tamber, BlueBoy, GoldBoy, the CatFish Salt, Pepper, and the two giant snails Flash and Speedy. Even though costly, you can't beat the convenience.
