The best aquarium heater I have purchased. Extremely accurate and the appearance in the aquarium is elegant. In fact, I am purchasing another one to replace a different heater that I purchased that is NOT heating the aquarium sufficiently.

This is too tall for my tank. I have the 5 gallon Aqua Culture starter kit and it’s much too tall for my tanks water level. I’m sure it would work fine for a taller tank. Definitely going to try to return.

very noticable

This heater works OK. I have the white Edge tank so the silver and black on this heater make it very noticable, and due to it's large size, it's hard to hide. The best way to hide something is to make it blend in. This does not.

I have a 6 gallon tank at my office that I got a preset heater for. My beta on the weekends when I wasn’t there the tank would get slight chilly for a betas liking. This one is preset to 80 and he is warm even on the weekends!

Great Heater
By Nano5 on Dec 20, 2021
Pretty nice heater. I was sceptical about the glass cover but it does look nicer I think than plain black. The picture does not do it justice. I have it in a 5 gallon nano so no, it does not fit in the filter area if you keep the sponge. But it is fully submersible so you can put it like mine in the tank. The downsize is it is visible, the upside is it has no issue at all keeping temp. The smaller size ones might

Very satisfied. Heaters can be hit or miss but this one is working, Only 3 weeks, like it should. I am hoping this one lasts for years like the other Fluval heaters I own.

Was to big for my tank trying to send the water heater back but the box came with no return label. Unnecessary frustration !!!!!

Great little tank heater
By LisainNM on Mar 15, 2021
I have 3 bettas and was using the tetra brand heaters which work fine. However one of my betta tanks sit in our sunroom and in the winter at night that room is the coldest in the house and the tetra brand heater could not keep the tank up to temp. When I would wake up the tank temp would be 74 degrees and with a +/- 1 variation I was not happy with the temp being at the low end of acceptable temps. So I decided to give this little heater a try and I am glad I did! I set this heater on 80 and the tank has been 79 degrees ever since. With a +/- of 1 on the tank thermometer (I have digital probes in tank) this is acceptable and I am very happy with this purchase!
