How low does the dryer go? Is the noise deduced at lower speed for frightened dogs?

This dryer features variable speeds that allows you the option to choose between faint air flow, high airflow and multiple air speeds in between. It is recommended to start from low to high for a longer motor life and to allow your pet to get use to the sound coming from it. It has a steel frame that helps reduce the noise emanating from the motor.

Does the air get warm ed even on the cool setting?

The air from the "None" option will be warm, not cool. The heat options on this dryer are: None, Low, and High. The temperature reaches 81F to 160F.

Great dryer!

We have a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy and needed a powerful dryer to get her thick undercoat completely dry after baths. A friend recommended the Flying Pig dryer to us and it works perfectly. Dries her quickly and thoroughly and her coat looks great afterward. Highly recommend!

Life (and house!) Saver

I love this hairdryer. I originally got one to prep my dogs to go in the ring. However, we live in Seattle where we get so much rain, it is impossible to go potty without getting soaked and muddy sometimes. This blow dryer blows the mud off with the water and can get a golden retriever fluffy like new in about 5 minutes. Life changing!

Timid dog approved

Perfect dryer! After reading and watching many dryer reviews, all discussing large dogs. I have a shy 8lb Shih Tzu who did not have a problem with this. It is very quiet and has heat settings. Expensive but worth it, dog was completely dry in 15 minutes and did not stress dog. Love it

grooming dryer

This is absolutely the best dryer I have ever used. I have a 135lb Black Russian Terrier that has a double coat which used to take me 2 hours to dry with my other professional dryer. I can get Baron dry with the Flying Pig in 30minutes. It has several drying options I am so happy that I chose this dryer and recommend it to anyone that loves their "wet" pet.

Powerful dryer!!

It make the whole drying fast & easy! Shorten the time at least 50%! If you bath your dog at home regularly, definitely worth it!

Awesome dryer

best investment for drying your dog fast. I have a husky and this save hours of dry time and keeps him from having wet dog smell all day. the heat function is just right so I never burn my dog. this is a must have and worth every penny.

Very good dryer

Got the pink one at a good price when Chewy was giving 30% off. We have never owned a dog dryer before. Our last dog would never have let us use it on her. We got our new Pyrenean Mastiff pup accustomed to my Dyson hairdryer when she was little and switching to the flying pig was a breeze. Powerful, I used 2/3 speed with hot air. Relatively quiet. Our pup is 130 lbs, and double coated. Air dried outside for 30 mins on a walk then dried her the rest of the way in under 30 mins. Last dog could take 2 days to dry completely. Knocked off one star because the nozzle can detach easily if it is not put correctly. I am worried it would come off easily on full speed. Our Persian cats are a little curious but not brave enough to try this dryer.

Great dryer

I got this to use at a very busy grooming salon and it's fantastic. I love the adjustments for heat and intensity, it's Great for small and medium dogs. Bigger dogs with shorter hair and fluffy hair it's good on as well but I do still use my more powerful one for the dogs blowing out undercoat.
