I sprayed this on some furniture legs that weren't going to survive my puppy's teething. He got the point as long as I provided him with ample toys to refocus his attention. He still chewed the puppy gate with the spray on it unbothered (the gate was metal, the furniture was wood, not sure if that made a difference). I find deterrents like these only really work with a positive reinforcement counterpart. And I did have to keep applying the spray every-other day or so for it to keep working. I still have some left though and it does the trick while we work on conditioning better behavior.
Stuff works so good but don't get any on your hands or touch anything you've treated as it's hard to get out of your skin and the taste transfers from item to item!
I wasn’t sure if it worked or not after spraying a few things our 3 month old German shepherd kept chewing and dragging around the house. She seemed to leave it the small rug in front of the fire place alone but the spray is odorless and I thought maybe it was a scam and just water so I tested it myself with a small lick. DONT DO THAT. It tastes awful and it took a lot of tongue scrubbing to get the taste out of my mouth. Our puppy apparently does not mind the taste though because a couple days later we came home from work and found the spray nozzle to a bottle chewed and on the floor. We didn’t see a bottle at first so we weren’t sure what she had chewed until we found it under our bed. She had knocked it off the dresser and seemed to enjoy it. The bottle was essentially full as I had only sprayed a few things. We have no idea where it dumped out at because as I said it’s odorless and we couldn’t find any noticeable wet spots. On to the next.
I bought it to help my bunny stop biting my girlfriend. We sprayed it on her feet & I swear it made her go even harder on trying to bite.
This stuff really works. All I have to do is walk near him with the bottle, now, and he stops licking.
This is not a deterrent. My puppy licks and eats it. Buy Grannick's bitter lemon or use Tabasco pepper sauce.
This stuff works amazingly well. My new cat like the Forbidden Salad. He is relentless. I have 180ish plants ranging from common and cheap to rare and expensive and he tries to eat them aaaaallllll. Not after spraying this stuff on them though! I know how bad it is because I need to handle my plants so it's always coming off on my hands. But totally worth it!
My puppy is now in the nipping stage and loves Togo after my legs. I sprayed the lower portion of my jeans with this and guess what? My puppy loves it! The spray hasn’t worked at all and I still feel teeth marks on my legs. Don’t buy this!
This does not work. It tastes terrible for humans (your puppy will share it with you when kissing you) but does not deter the puppy AT ALL. Save your money and buy something else.
Dog likes the taste. Doesn't work. Would like to return.
