I accidentally got some in my own mouth. What is a quick way to get rid of the taste... It's terrible. It'll definitely work on my cat!!
Answer by ChewyJan 28, 2021
Citrus fruits such as lemons can help in the mouth and oil-removing products like Dawn soap or “rub-away” bars can be used to remove some of the bad tasting oils on skin.

Works for aggressive chewers

We bought this product because we have 2 Husky puppies chewing everything not nailed down and we were at the end of our last nerve with training them. We simply spray it on, they lick it once or twice, make a nasty face, and it lasts for about 18 hrs before I have to reapply. Some areas they haven't even returned to chew on again. Best $5 spent.

Mom of 4bunnies

I bought 2 bottles and it's like all 4 of my bunnies wasn't phased by it. Did not work at all. I bought Liquid Fence for plants and stuff outside used it inside on baseboard and walls it does have an odor but once dry we could not smell it but it works great.

I bought fooey because my dog would chew and take off my dogs collar. It didn't help that this would happen in winter so it would get lost in the snow. I bought this March 2021 and it now April 2022 so worth it. The collar hasn't been chewed on or taken off.

Apparently my dog likes an Old Fashioned

Sure the bitter taste isnt harmful, but apparently it wont save the doggy door from chewzilla. That magnet is like a whiskey and simple syrup I guess. Didnt save the doggy door, so wasnt worth buying.

Stops nuisance chewing

I sprayed this product on some cardboard boxes that my golden retriever would never leave alone but he continues to check them out but has never chewed on them again. Like all of these products you must be careful not to go overboard with the amount that you spray and it is best that you not spray so much that you inhale or smell it because it’s not pleasant.

Wow! It works!

My dog was chewing the edges of my new carpets. I used Fooey on them and he hasn’t touched them. It’s been months now. This was my second bottle. I spray everything I don’t want him to chew.

My puppy loved the taste of FOOEY

My young puppy started chewing on wooden table legs. I bought "Fooey Ultra-Bitter training Aid Spray" to stop that. I sprayed it where he had started to chew the legs. He loved it, not only did he chew the legs after I sprayed them, he licked up the over spray off the floor.
