The quality of this product is second to none. I’ve been purchasing dried bugs for my chickens and wild birds for over a decade and no longer trust imports as I consume the eggs my hens lay. I want a quality product that is sourced in America. In large quantity, these are an exceptional value. Upon close observation, there is consistency in size and quality of the Larve. Clearly, good husbandry is practiced by this grower. My hens love them and have never looked better. This is an especially important protein source for my hens and wild birds as the weather cools.
These soldier fly larvae are loved by my turkeys! They will eat these first before going for anything else!!
I have a lot of chickens and they love dried grubs. It can get expensive. This bag is HUGE and price/lb is less than buying smaller bags. Plus the grubs are nice and big with very little breakage, so less waste.
My hens love them
All of the girls went through a hard mold at the same time and then stopped laying. Even after the feathers are almost all grown back they still were not laying. I decided to try giving the soldier fly larva to them because of the extra protein in calcium. I gave each hand a handful of them everyday and they have started laying again.
The bag is a truly generous portion and the baked worms are still fat with their last meals. I use them to top my chicken's breakfast and she inhales them like a feathery vacuum.
Spent a great deal of time and money feeding wild birds live larvae. Although dried are probably lower in nutrients, they require zero maintenance and no feeding or smelling them.
Saved a lot by buying in bulk. My girls love these high protein, high calcium snacks and go through a lot of them.
Chickens love them! Eat them first they come running!!
chickens love them , they were fresh. had good price
