Instructions

When putting the mask on your horse, approach the horse from the left side. Directly approaching your horse with the mask could startle him. Open the two locking fasteners and place the ears through the mask with the forelock over the trim and mesh. Secure both the locking fasteners under the jaw. Once the mask has been fastened with the right amount of snugness, check each side of the horses face by allowing your fingers to slip comfortably between the mask and your horse. The mask fabric should not be too close to your horse's eyes; ensure the eye lashes do not poke through the material. Straps can be adjusted for a custom fit. Checking the mask daily is recommended. Examine the condition of your horses face and eyes. Check for any damage to the mask. Replace the mask if damage is found, as it is difficult to repair. It's important to keep the mask clean. Wash the mask periodically, with mild soap and water. Caution: vision may be impaired during rainstorms.

    Great fly mask!

By HillMom on Jun 3, 2021

I really like this fly mask for our horses. We have several horses out in pasture where we leave the mask on 24/7 and this mask allows great visibility for them especially at night. Last summer they kept their masks on the entire time--even when one of the straps broke, the other one was enough to keep the mask in place. I highly recommend it! The size can be a challenge but we purchased the Warmblood and Horse so that we could try them on each horse before purchasing. The Warmblood is huge but it is somewhat adjustable and allows plenty of room between the netting and the eyes. The Horse size fits our quarter horses but the Warmblood fits every larger horse.

    Seems to repel flys

By Gabby on Jun 24, 2021

Have only been using these for a week but so far they actually seem to repel the flys. I will be interested to see how long the repellent lasts. The fit is a bit weird and a little loose on the jaw but as long as the repellent works that shouldn’t be an issue

    Outstanding mask!

By MarthaP on Oct 22, 2020

I love this mask! One of my horses hates a separation between his ears so this mask is perfect for that. We both love the Clear View Vision mesh and the reflective nose piece makes it so easy to find him in the pasture in the dark hours of Winter. It is very durable and stands up to repeated washing and the workout that his buddy gives it trying to take it off for him. I love it!
