Best Food So Far
Ellie was, unfortunately, used as a breeder dog in an Amish puppy mill for the first 4 years of her life. Luckily, the founder of a dog rescue in PA was able to rescue her, and 3 other dogs before they were killed for not producing large enough litters of puppies. She was so abused and neglected during her time there that her psychological, trust and digestive issues will never be completely resolved. She is a Wheaten Terrier and has what is known as "the gulpies" in Wheatie groups. She also has plenty of environmental and food allergies. She scratches so much that her whole belly is black from the constant scratching and she started getting bumps all over her back that were super itchy for her as well. We've tried probably 12 - 15 different foods for her in the 7 years we've had her. Forza 10 Dermo Active is the first that has started to make the black on her tummy begin to lighten up, which is so wonderful as this little girl deserves to live out the rest of her life in a manner that is as comfortable and happy as possible. We haven't been using Forza 10 Dermo for long, in fact we're still going through the transitional period. She's at half of her old food and half of the Forza now, which is especially encouraging for when she's on 100% Forza. Cross your fingers for Ellie! And if you love the pets in your life, please do whatever you can to end puppy mills for good. And maybe say a prayer or send positive energy to the thousands of animals who are being abused and neglected in them right now.
So far, so good
We have been at our wits end so many times we didn't k ow what to feed our girl anymore. We tried all the different formulas, home-made food, shots, pills that gave her projectile poop, all the supplements and probiotics supposed to get rid of her constant licking, raw pink skin and bare patches. Nothing was working. I think what I've decided is that if she ANY food twice a day, every day she will develop an allergy to it. I've been rotating this food and a raw blend for a couple weeks now, one in the morning and the other in the evening and her skin has completely cleared up. Her fur is growing back, her paws no longer have the texture of lizard skin. Her eyes are no longer watering and red. Just the fact that this formula is made from ingredients outside the US makes me believe that our standards here are so poor that our pets are suffering as a result. Yes, it smells different, but the process they use of not cooking at the high temps and then cold pressing the ingredients that are heat sensitive makes so much difference. She was already eating mostly fish anyways so she eats it with no issues. Like I said, so far, so good. It's been a couple weeks but the change is significant.

This is the only food that works!
After trying EVERYTHING else that is nutritionally complete, and low ingredient, added supplements, swapped proteins and yet nothing worked long term for our IT (Irish terrier). I finally tried this product and WISH I had started with it smh. It just works!! Our pup had skin issues from about 1 yr old on. He’s almost 4 now and we have used Forza for almost 2 yrs. It took a couple months but he no longer has hot spots or itching. LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Please ignore the smell comments. Yes a new bag gas a slight fish smell. Yes you need to slowly switch ANY food. My dog loves it and asks me to fill his feeder ball twice a day- he’s happy and fit and has no complaints about the taste now!
Definitely Helping!
I have a rescue bulldog mix with (do I even need to say it) skin issues. Freeze dried high quality raw food made matters worse, irrespective of the protein source or brand. Z/D Diet for whatever reason wasn’t being tolerated well nor was regular dog food. This version of Forza10 has really helped! After a slow transition, she no longer had hives and most of the itching subsided after about 30 days. We are now on the third month and she’s doing great. She also loves it. I occasionally add some toppers to see how she tolerates them, but I am grateful we found this as we had been at wits end to find a food that she could thrive on. Definitely would recommend giving it a go with a sample or small size bag to see if it works for your dog - but they’re all different of course. Hope it helps your pup too!
Dog won’t eat it
I haven’t totally given up yet but my dog won’t touch it. I contacted Forza10 directly and they suggested buying their expensive wet food as a mixer. Seriously, $89 for 22 lbs and their suggestion is to buy more expensive wet food.
The Right Stuff
My Beagle loves the new food after a lot of pushback at first but now takes to it without any groveling and pleading from my end…The results have been great as he has begun to loose the weight the he accumulated as with us all during the pandemic…
Food had maggots!
I switched my dog to this food a few months ago and she loved it and did so well on it. Her itching stopped completely! unfortunately the most recent bag I received had small worms (looked like maggots?) moving around in it. Sadly I no longer feel comfortable feeding my pup this food.
Happy puppy
After using Royal Canine, I found my Puppy to have stomach problems. Mainly Diarrhea. I mix 1/2 of each after I slowly introduced Forza 10 Active Line Dermo over a period of time. It works well. I also add a teaspoon of Organic Pumpkin and she is terrific. Her weight perfect, her coat really beautiful, allergies (Bijon Frises are known to have) aren't an issue.
