    Good Syringes . . . .

These worked fine for me with adult cats. I used the one with the larger tip that you could cut with scissors for Nutrical. I used the extremely narrow tip one for feeding a mixture of liquid food. It was surprising the narrow tip one worked so well for that, too. I had no trouble with these getting stuck, either, as I have with other feeding syringes. The narrowest one will not work well with medication, however, unless you shoot the medication into the cat's mouth. If you slowly inject it, there will still be medication in the syringe at the end. … more

    Great for medications!

I have to give one of my dogs medicine every day so I mix it with peanut butter and give him a shot of water after each fingertip of peanut buttered medicine. This is so much better than 4 or 5 little syringes.

    Feeding unweaned kittens

    By on

In the process of cat rescuing I run into kittens who are in need of bottle feeding. I can never get them to take to the nipples. I syringe feed but it's hard to ensure I don't get too much in their mouths at once. These syringe feeders are amazing. They fit exactly what I need.

    Great feeder!

This is the syringe everyone is waiting for. NO rubber gasket to get stuck because end of plunger is a flat disk. Cut down to the second joint from the top and any "pate" cat food easily goes through the hole. Syringe holds close to a quarter can of cat food so if you have to syringe an entire quarter can, you may want to order 2 of these in order to have your second syringe handy. You would use the syringe in the pack that does "not" have the skinny needle on it. Barrel is a good 3/4 inches wide. This syringe is very easy to use.

    Great for convalescing pets

My Old Man Cat has had a rough go lately, with polycystic kidney disease that he's had almost 13 years, newly diagnosed Hyper T, and a nasty infection that claimed his left ear and ear canal that we cannot beat. That said, Old Man Logan is still feisty. But sometimes he gets a little behind the 8 ball. Had a recent scare when the infection came back with a vengeance, he became dehydrated and lethargic and sent his kidneys into a tailspin. After a few days in hospital, he came home weak but determined. I needed to syringe feed him, but all the syringes I found locally were so small! The were meant for small puppies and kittens. This is a perfect size and since you can cut the tip, it allows bits of watered down wet food to pass with ease. It's easy to clean and the numbers haven't washed off, so you can keep track of how much you feed. Excellent product. Thankfully I don't have to use it right now, and hopefully not for a long while. But it's good to have on hand. Definitely recommend! … more

    Prefect Solution

    By on

Success! My precious Auggie would NOT take his medicine. I tried sticking it down his throat, but he put it in his cheek and spit it out in seconds. I tried Pill Poppers and he ate the treat and left the pill on the floor. I tried putting it in his food and he ate around it. With the Four Paws Easy Feeder I was able to crush the pill and put it in water or chicken broth and down it went. I’m grateful to have such a simply thing to keep him healthy. Thank you!

    Great for administering laxative...

The vet prescribed something a lot like Petromalt, and she would NOT take it; she wouldn’t even lick it off her paws! So, I had to resort to force feeding it to her, and the larger feeder works for such a thick substance.
