For use in cats 12 weeks and older, feed1 soft chew daily per 5 lbs body weight.
my cats would not eat these.. doesn't mean they don't work just not sure of the taste. can't give a great review, but it may be cat to cat :-/
My two year old cat has had a problem with the dreaded scarf and barf for a long time. I’ve tried everything kind of slow feeder and elevated bowl out there and nothing worked. I’ve been feeding him these probiotics for a few weeks now, and I’ve seen a huge improvement! I know that every kitty is different, but these are worth a shot.
I have a Sphynx cat and tried this and it was a very bad experience he literally had explosive diarrhea. I will not be using these ever again.
I have a 7 year old cat that started throwing up after every meal, and her poop was white. It was suggested to start her on a probiotic. This is the one I decided to try, and I'll continue to buy it. I haven't had any issues with vomit or white poop since starting her on it almost a year ago.
I chose these probiotic chews to replace a terrific and effective (and very reasonably priced) probiotic chew that had been made by Drs Foster and Smith. Not only was that probiotic discontinued, I had trouble finding anything similar. I started using these in late May. Expiration is 5/22 - so a year before they were to expire. First impressions were that they were crumbly rather than moist. They did not smell “good”, but rather “meh” and my two 18 year old cats who had been doing great with the other probiotic (and begged for it as if it was a treat) gave me the stink eye like they thought I was punishing them. Sadly, one is quite ill and needs a probiotic he can easily chew and has enough flavor to entice him (cheese and grain flavors aren’t it). They begrudgingly ate this probiotic if I crumbled it up for a little over a month. The last few days they’ve walked away from it, and the one cat that has come back to eat it has thrown up every single day he’s eaten one or part of one. Trying to figure out the problem, I held the open jar up to my nose: Yikes! They’ve fermented. They smell like someone tried to make liver wine. They have been kept cool. Never exposed to heat or the sun. I have no use for a jar of over-priced liver wine nuggets. Unless you do, find a better product. I know I am looking for one now.
My cats wouldn’t even take one of these from my hand they didn’t even put it in their mouths or lick it. $16 down the drain.
