I bought this brush for my Old English Sheepdog puppy. His fur is not matted or anything I just wanted to test the brush. The first time I used it, the brush head came off completely. The adhesive was all over my dog's fur and it's difficult to get out. If the brush cannot withstand the fur of a sheepdog, maybe don't use a fluffy sheepdog picture on your packaging...

Really happy with the rake part itself. Really gets to the undercoat of my golden retriever. However, the glue holding the comb part into the handle didn't hold so I have to be careful it doesn't come apart while brushing.

First try to brush my GS and handle came off.. This thing isn’t worth anything !

This brush works AMAZINGLY on our double coated collie mix, it gets out all that loose undercoat & helps to keep her cooler in these hot summer months in Florida. It works wonders on our 2 cats as well, I've searched for a long time for something that would work well on them & finally found it! I've even used it on our short haired Chihuahua mix & although it doesn't get THAT much fur off it does help & she loves the way it feels. So that's the love part.. the hate part is I was using it last week on our collie mix & noticed the handle started separating from the rest of the brush. Others have made this complaint too, so it's clear they need a better adhesive. I used this brush one time on my Great Pyrenees. One swipe down her back and the comb section separated from the handle section. One.Swipe. I got the brush as a back up brush, thankfully! Cheap....Cheap...Cheap....not worth the money.

The handle fell apart within 10 minutes of brushing and the bristles also stopped extending.

Videos mention how helpful an undercoat rake is so I decided to give it a try. My sheltie is also very small and has a thinner coat than most sheltieS so I was skeptical about even using this tool, but when my product arrived in the mail, I immediately began to try it for my dog. Now, I don’t even find excess hair around my apartment, and my Black clothes are no longer tinged with white fluff. I absolutely love it, and I recommend it to anyone who has a dog with those pesky undercoatS that constantly cause hair to float around your air and settle on every surface. If you’re any kind of shepherd owner, you know what I am talking about. Plus, many people even pay to have a groomer take care of the excess shedding of fur. I just love the quality of this brush I wish it would have worked but I have a French Bulldog on and it doesn't seem to pull any hair at all and he sheds like crazy!

My rake arrived and I took it out to immediately try it on my super-shedder Golden. A few strokes in and the head separated from the handle, the glue holding them together just crumbled out like a bad rubber adhesive. So that's extremely disappointing. The rake itself was working great, but the construction leaves me less than impressed.

To all double furred endowed pet, owners take it from me the mom of the red headed blue eyed fur monster get this rake! First use out the door produced another dog! I could have made a pillow out of the fluff produced, not a small one, but a standard pillow case for a queen set! One little downside the cover comes off the handle, easily fixed with cement something or other. Honey Bear likes how it feels, no irritation and she looks amazing! So will my house very soon.
