Do not leave your dog unsupervised. The security and effectiveness of this product will depend on the material into which the stake is embedded. Do not use on loose or wet soil. Always ensure proper installation and check the condition of your dog’s collar for any weak spots that could tear. Do not use with worn-out or defective collars, cables or harnesses. As with all tie-out devices, a strong or very determined pet may still be able to free itself from it. Consider your dog’s temperament and size before using.
Instructions
Select an area free of obstruction.
Hammer stake into ground until cap is at ground level.
Attach 25' lead line from stake to dog's collar.
Dog can now roam securely.

So Far So Good!
We recently moved from a house in a neighborhood with an Invisible Fence, to a country farmhouse on a road. These are helping us transition. My largest dog is 26 lbs down to 3lbs. I have the cables in varying weights. I only use them when I can supervise the dogs.

Broke in 5 days
I had high hopes for this tie out. This is the first we purchased. The stake itself is easy to install, and sturdy. The lead/leash broke 5 days after we got it delivered. I didn’t see any description that this SHOULDNT be used with big dogs, so we purchased it vs another set we saw.
Recommend this for temporary tie ups outside
Easy to use and sturdy - helped just to have a safe picnic with our sweet dog without fear of injury or loss.

Pretty good so far!
The first time we used it, my 45lb pup chased something and the stake bent, but it's still in good shape so far. We wanted something durable enough to withstand our dog's pulling, but also easily removable and portable and we're glad we found this. The cord is a good length, just don't try to grab it when your dog is moving-you can get cut!

Sturdy ground placement. Double check the site you want to install it. Can't get it out of the ground. Give three stars b/c it works. 2 stars off b/c you can't change your mind.
Crushed!!!
My order was fine just disappointed with the packaging. All items came in one box so the heavy kitty litter crushed the cat food bag and it split open. Have order these items in the past and didn’t have this problem.
