Questions & Answers

7 Customer Questions

I wish you could show a picture of the label. My dog needs 232.2 mg EPA daily for his dry skin. So if I buy this and it doesnt have what I need, then I have to search for something else. Spending more money.
Answer by ChewyMar 04, 2021
The dosage based off your pet’s weight 1 pump (0.5 mL) for every 10 lb. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

Where exactly is this EPA/DHA sourced please? What country? & HOW? What type of fish? Is it sustainable?
Answer by ChewyMay 22, 2018
The fish oil in this product is derived from renewable sources of anchovies and sardines, sourced from the pacific northwest. Whenever wild-caught fish is available, it is sourced for this diet. When not available, farm-raised fish from the Pacific Northwest is used to ensure the recipe is still available for the members of our furry families.

6/21/19 are all omega 3 oils or gel caps only be used for intermittent time the other product I purchased says just that on the bottle since all are about the same if it’s helping why stop using then animal will start to go back the way they were explain
Answer by ChewyJun 24, 2019
All supplements are to be used intermittently, as they are not complete and balanced diets.

Are the benefits just as effective if a daily dose of 8 pumps is split into two servings, i.e., 4 pumps for breakfast and 4 pumps for supper?
Answer by ChewyMar 02, 2019
The daily feeding instructions for this liquid are based on pet body weight. The advised amount may be given all at once or throughout the course of the day.

Omega-3 Fish oil

Have been using this for my fur baby Fancy (dog) since vet recommended this. I mix in with her food and feel good about this as it helps them in so many ways.

Not for large dogs

The directions are one pump for every 20 lbs. my dog is 100lbs! At 5 pumps every single day, you blow through this really quick. The snip tips were are pain to break open every day so I switched to this thinking it’s easier. Its great for smaller dogs but not my big boy unfortunately. Fantastic brand though and I noticed a shinier coat within days.

Great Product

I use this for my 100 pound dog for joint pain relief. She likes it on her food. I love the liquid more than the pills you have to snap open. I only wish you sold a bigger container of the liquid. Came fast and accurate as usual!

The cats don't like it!

The cats don't like it and won't eat their food if it's in there. I'm not going to try to force feed them it like it's medicine. I wasted my money. It smells really strong of fish and I think that's why the cats don't like it. They need to neutralize the odor or something. I'm sure it would really be great for them, but if you can't get them to take it, then it's no use.

difficult to get accurate dosage

Find the spout difficult to operate to get the correct amount of the oil that I need. I removed the spout and tried pouring the required 1/2 teaspoon and that is also difficult as the oil drips down the bottle? Not easy to work with at all.

Easy to use

Easy to use. Have used the snip tabs before the pump is so much easier. Helps with my dogs itchy winter skin and hot spots on my geriatric puppy.
