Adjust the amount of food you serve based on the age, size and activity level of your dog. Food should be fed at room temperature. Fresh water should be available at all times. Refrigerate unused portion. Adults: Feed 3 cans per 10 lb of body weight.
The general idea is to slowly decrease the amount of your pets current food while increasing the amount of the new food you wish to use. For both cats and dogs, we typically recommend taking about 7-14 days to gradually transition to the new food. Every pet is different though, and some may require more time than others. As always, you and your vet know your pet best and should decide if this traditional approach to food transitioning is the right path.
My Standard Poodle has food allergies and is also very picky. Limited ingredient lamb dog food sits well with her tummy and megasophogus issues. I used to buy the Blue Buffalo Limited Ingredient and Grain Free lamb and sweet potato wet dog food but it became very hard to find. I switched to this and this is the 3rd time purchasing the smaller pack of 12 cans. I feed it to my Goldendoodle too to keep their food the same. They both eat dry blue Buffalo limited ingredient lamb and sweet potato kibble with a tsp of this wet food with some water with their feedings.
My dogs loved it! I have already ordered more and will continue to do so.
My dogs wouldn't touch it. They are semi picky but this dog food was a total waste of money. They were hungry and really wanted to eat but took one bite and that was it. It sat there all day. I finally had pity on them and gave them something else. Now I'm stuck with the rest of the case. Guess I'll donate it but I kind of hesitate because if my dogs won't touch it I feel bad giving it to any other dogs.
Maggie loves meal time and licks her plate clean! She absolutely loves her new food! Her coat looks healthier, too
My dog Boone loved the Freely Lamb wet food. Blended into the Freely dry food and cleaned the bowl. Great new food.
